An old guy (not in the best of shape) was working out in the gym, when he spotted a sweet young thing.

He asked his male trainer, "What machine in here should I use to impress that sweet thing over there?"

The trainer looked him up and down and replied, "I would try the ATM in the lobby."

tmerton, which gym do you belong to?  ;)

Strib article details how the Tommies are beating the Johnnies with better locker rooms, in addition to the players that exude work ethic, leadership, selflessness, pride in the team and passion for our great sport.  At this pace, we'll surely see a jumbotron in the natural bowl in 5 years.

SUMMIT!!!!!

It's 9:40 pm Saturday 05/21/2011 and I'm still here. And as I look out the window .... so is the world.

Yeah, me, too.  Maybe we got lucky and only they only took Tommies this time around.
Nope, no such luck. Us Tommies got passed over by the Rapture with your Johnnies and everyone else....maybe next time?

I would not have expected you to go anyway. ;D
Thanks Tmert!  :)  :)

Some recruiting news on the Johnnie front.  It's always interesting to see who develops into solid players.

It appears that a wider net is being cast. One player from Stillwater and another from B-St.M  :o
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

More replacements for the irreplaceable.  Fame is fleeting, eh, Duff?

Great news!!! My first cousin once removed Kris Humphries is engaged to Kim Kardashian. :D He gave her a 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring. Kardashian told People magazine that she was in "shock" when she entered her Beverly Hills home last week to discover Humphries on bended knee with "will you marry me" spelled out in rose petals.

Maybe I can talk Kris and Kim into allowing me to do the wedding ceremony at the Stiftungsfestivities this fall in Collegeville. A perfect wedding in a perfect place! ;)

What a great article.  It makes me very excited for this coming season.  Can you believe it?  A state winning QB and a guy that wants to be a kicker?   It's raining opportunity at SJU this year!

How are we getting these great people when UST(D) has that big new shiny facility?  I can't understand it.  I guess I'm just not very smart...

Yes, 'tis big news.

Fr Koopman is stepping down as President of SJU at the end of his term.  The job is too stressful.  I wish him well in retirement, or less stressful employment.

Speaking of stress, the next guy will likely need to deal with replacing Gagliardi.  Might as well order the pacemker, crash cart and high tension pills now...

I think it has to be a Benedictine monk, which narrows the field a bit.  Sorry, Oz, I know you're champing at the bit but you'll have to wait.
