Agreed.  Very good.  Gene McGivern does a great job for UST.

I should be pulling into Collegeville about 9am with 56321 and, most importantly, the Chicago Polish sausages.

Looks to be a great day in Collegeville.

BTW, anyone know what happened to Lone Augie Backer?  Miss his posts.

I think he did a lot of the research that wound up in that NY Times article on small town college QBs.

I'm sitting in the MCG

What the heck is the MCG?  Melbourne Community Gardens?  How are the rhododendrons?  8-)

Safe travels to all-looking forward to see SJU in person and renewing old acquaintances.
Veek will be the grill master tomorrow and I know the Polish will be done properly.
See those of you in Collegeville tomorrow!
VOJ stop by and get a Polish!

I'm guessing that if the Johnnies do dole out a stomp they will refrain from squib kicking up 42-0?
Last night Eden Prairie opened up a large can of whoop ass on Hopkins (56-7).  They squib kicked their first 6 kickoffs of the first half to keep the ball away from Royals superstar Andre McDonald. With about six minutes left in the half, following their 7th TD, the Eagles again squib kicked (it really looked more like an onside kick...very short however they did not have players stacked on the side of the kick).  It was mishandled by a Hopkins player at the 50...EP recovered and scored on the next play to go up 49-0.  Truth is EP probably threw the ball about 5 times the entire game.  They ran at will.
Just had to vent a little bit there...it was pretty bush league in my book.

Well-this is the worst SJU team I have seen since '86-what kind of coach does not have at least 3 deep on the first play for Auggie-simply poor coaching!!

Tough break for the Johnnies.

Either way, I hope to see you guys in St. Paul next weekend.
