It can't be about the money.  They would have surely offered a pay-per-view option by now if that was the case.  They're afraid of giving potential playoff opponents more game film to review.

I think that's a really dumb premise for them to follow.
It's not very difficult to get film on any game if you ask around.
Besides, the opponents would have to PAY to get that feed!
All this would do is make it a little easier for opponents to get their hands on the game tapes.
The trade off would be more exposure, and it could make recruiting easier.

Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

It could be quite a good one though.  This season started really badly but they came on well and finished with another winning record.  I bet there is quite a good feel good story in that.

Nice shot, ROR. You do have a keen eye.

As my 13 year old would say, "the guy has skills."

I followed John onto the field after the game.  Wanted to get a shot of him shaking hands with Hamline coach John Pate.  Hamline coach never showed.  I don't recall that ever happening.  Mike LaBore, Beau LaBore's younger brother, was the only Hamline coach to do so.  John kept looking around, but Pate never showed.  Maybe he was searching for

Had a buddy at the game and said that Pate walked off the field when the clock hit zero and didn't say anything to his players.  I guess they (Hamline) were looking for him when the team met in the end zone as well.

Finsleft is saved by the Oles who beat the spread with a couple of redzone interceptions and a fumble returned for a TD in the 2nd half.
Congratulations to our back-to-back champ.  Finsleft

I hate Olaf.  Congratulations, I thought I had you for a second.

Been a tough year. Not exactly what Hamline envisioned, I'm sure, when they hired a guy with five I-AA championship rings.

I have heard that Nate Meyer, the senior quarterback from Rocori, is strongly considering SJU.  Rocori is in the state semi-finals and Meyer is a very good leader and athlete.  Also, he is Eric Decker's step-brother so if it turns out he doesn't go to SJU, at least we can talk for the next 4 years how good we would have been had he attended SJU.

On an unrelated note, I walked through the guidance office today at the high school I teach at and there was a purple UST kleenx box on the counter.  I guess UST uses them for advertising and recruiting when they visit high schools.  The guidance counseler from our high school, a Cobber, asked me if I would refuse to use the UST tissues.  I said, "on the contrary, I can't think of anything else I would rather blow my snot on."

I steel it from our guidance office and use it as toilet paper.  ;D

Would +1 if I had the power.

From the recap of Carleton's Sept. win over Hamline:

"While the Knights picked up their first win of the season in this game, Hamline is still searching for its first victory, which has proven as elusive as Sasquatch in a remote, dense forest."
