Hobart had back to back bye weeks before the game. I'd like to see anyone's results vs a playoff team that had 3 weeks to prepare.

UST had a bye week and Scholastica before playing Monmouth.  I think that qualifies.  ;)

Touche!
The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

OK And we can throw Montclair or Cortland in to take the spot of  Monmouth.
Montclair and Cortland=First round exit in the West.

Best post of the day!

In all honesty, I could see UST winning by 42.  Which would signify the impressive double monkey stomp!

So, if St. Thomas wins this game and next week someone suggests the Tommies have still not proven they can beat a good team this post-season, you will be the first to agree?

Also, the run defense limited Monmouth to 4 yards rushing and Scholastica to 14-- thats 28 total yards in 2 playoff games!

4+14=28 They teach you that math at UST?   ;)

When did they start teaching math at UST?

yes and that game was 21 years ago and the Tommies won due to a missed extra point 24-23. 85% of the guys playing now wern't even alive when that game was played.

Always a welcome atmosphere at the Perk.  Also always best if they find out in person what they will be up against.  ;)

If the Tommies win this week, you should let their fans know that diagonal parking through two parking spots to keep other cars away from theirs is strictly prohibited at the Perk.  :)

Dlip (2 syllables)  I understand your attempt at being reasonable with a couple of these posters who think the acronym for St. Thomas is MUC...but really, as far as I can tell, the Tommies have no play-off accomplishments to speak of.  They had the North #1 last year and fell flat on their asses.

They have compiled their undefeated record the same way DVC and John hopkins did....by wasting mediocre at best competition.  SJF will be the best team they face to date.....
I tend to agree with the top 25 pollsters that ranked Bethel and St. Olaf equal or above St. John Fisher.  Would Fisher be favored to win at River Falls, SJU, Concordia or even St. Norbert?

What PC said....
Please note that PC didn't address whether Bethel or St. Olaf were superior to St. John Fisher.  Please tell us why your squad is better than those teams despite Fisher having less talent, size and speed.

1.)  Why bother...SJF is not playing those teams this week in the Final 8....oh yeah...b/c those teams didnt even make the play-offs, which is oh by the way probably the answer to your question....

2.)  If I wanted to bother answering your question, which really I already did above, do I have to start with your baseless and unfounded factual premise that the two teams you mention, who are not in the play-offs to even speak of (did I mention that yet....that they are not even in the play-offs and SJF is making its 3rd trip to the Final 8 in 6 yrs) are more talented....blah blah blah

Are we clear?
