Looks like somebody won't be getting a Christmas card from me this year....
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Maybe just for this game, then.  But if the Toms win, then next week they play UWW.  Who here will barrack for those guys?  And if, somehow, the Toms get through that game then they'll be playing MUC(k).  Cheer for them?

So we're getting kind of stuck.  Despite the entirely natural aversion all Johnnies feel toward The BC of the Midwest, the teams they come up against present their own problems.  Stuck between the Devil and the deep blue sea.

I don't know, Oz.  I'm a big MUC aka UMU fan as long as they're not playing our Johnnies.  And I'll cheer for UWW over U$T.  I'm not going to "cheer" for U$T this week, but it would be nice to send these east-coast jabronis back home with their tails between their legs.

A tradition unrivaled...

If you made that bed Oz, you'll have to sleep in it; as well as look yourself in the mirror the next morning  :o

I'm starting to think you have the moral compass of many of the U$TD co-eds  :-[
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Gah!  It's a very rare occasion where I find myself doubting... myself (vague movie reference?).  I'm just gonna crawl in a hole and see what happens.

(you can stop cheering now)

Touchdown Tommy

Ok TDT has crunched the numbers and this one looks like a blowout for St. Thomas.  TDT has the Toms by 20pts.  Mail it in, it's in the bank (h/t GHC)...

How many fans from St. John Fisher are making the trip?  I know our pals from RPI and the LLPP enjoyed their trip to Collegeville in 2003...

Good use of "jabroni", Duff.  If I could +k, I would.
The artist formerly known as Carl Spackler... it's nice to be back!

Adversity doesn't build character; it reveals it.

ROR: Are you really gonna sit in some VIP suite with MIACManiac?

Oz: Who wins a fist fight, Allenby or Ogilvy?  Love the juicy sideshow from the Hyatt Coolum...

Retired Old Rat

I'm tempted.  Would give me a prized location to heckle the lads from SJF.

I'll be on the sidelines taking photos.  Unless it rains.  Then I'll be at home.  Snow, not a problem.  Rain is a deal breaker if the Johnnies are not involved.

Oz, I think you need to take up drinking again.  The real stuff, not Zima.

ROR out.  (h/t GHC)

82 has taken many a road trip to pull in a W for his Cards, but unfortunately not this one.  Went to DVC last weekend and plan to make the trip to UWW next Saterday.  SJF fans generally travel well (but I guess that depends on the definition of "well") for the play-off games.  In 2006, at Alliance, the college sent 3 school buses full of students/fans, plus about 200 parents/siblings and the like and dozens of alum made the drive.  There were prob around 600-750 fans I would guess that day.

This 'trip' is a whole different animal as it is a 17 hour drive that I doubt many will take.  So that leaves prob just the parents and some misc. individuals going.  My guess is you might see 200?

What is the Tommies avg attendance?

SJF 24
Tommies 20

As I predicted last week against DVC...no big turnovers or specs meltdowns and we win by 2 TDs.

At worst it is a hard-fought close loss maybe by the same score predicted above.
