Ill let you ask him.
You might want to start out with "Mr. Thomas" if I were u

I feel a casual backward gait would afford me the opportunity to avoid any unwanted sweaty contact from Monroe County's first prize hog.

Of course, I was initially under the impression this pile of mash potatoes played for Delaware Valley.

Either way, I hope this bulletin board material doesn't inspire an asthma attack.

Good thing this game isn't being played at St. John Fisher if we're concerned about attendance.  2424 average this season with their last home playoff game in 2007 drawing only 1124.

where did you get those numbers from?  I have missed only 1 home play-off game it may have been the 2007 you refer to, but I am pretty sure we never had only 1000 fans at a game let alone a play-off game.  We brought about 700 to Alliance in 06, so I would be shocked that only a few hundred more were at a home game.

We have several games a year with 3500-4500....ususally homecoming, IC home game and the UR game before it moved downtown.  Crowds are relatively tame though.

Bench,
He isnt going to win the 40, but he is strong as hell and of course yes he is a load to move.
What else would you need?

He definitely looks like quite a load to move.  I think the question is how easy is he to move around?

Look fellas, I'm just worried okay. If he was a minor in the state of Ohio he'd be removed from his home by social workers and put on a diet.

Here's the both score for that game with 1124 in attendance against Curry.  From the date it looks like it was Thanksgivig week, which probably hurt attendance, the week before the attendance was 2688 for a win over Hobart.

Duff....you KNOW you can wear purple to the game.  And it will be the most righteous purple!   8-)

The only time you would catch me in purple at a UST game was if they were playing Mount, Whitewater, or Linfield.  ;D  I might have to bust out my Raider gear this weekend!
Sounds like a plan.  That way you can save your Warhawk hat for next weekend IF UWW and the Tommies take care of business on Saturday, that is.   ;)    8-)

A foregone conclusion...

I know UST is a lower seed than UWW however is it certain the game would be in Whitewater?

No offense but I've made too many trips to southeast Wisconsin to watch the Johnnies get pummled so to spend a day driving to watch the same happen to the Tommies would be tough to stomach.

Good Luck to both SJF and UST this weekend.

Indeed, good luck to both--but in the end just slightly more good luck to SJF. ;)

Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Ok TDT has crunched the numbers and this one looks like a blowout for St. Thomas.  TDT has the Toms by 20pts.  Mail it in, it's in the bank (h/t GHC)...

How many fans from St. John Fisher are making the trip?  I know our pals from RPI and the LLPP enjoyed their trip to Collegeville in 2003...

82 has taken many a road trip to pull in a W for his Cards, but unfortunately not this one.  Went to DVC last weekend and plan to make the trip to UWW next Saterday.  SJF fans generally travel well (but I guess that depends on the definition of "well") for the play-off games.  In 2006, at Alliance, the college sent 3 school buses full of students/fans, plus about 200 parents/siblings and the like and dozens of alum made the drive.  There were prob around 600-750 fans I would guess that day.

This 'trip' is a whole different animal as it is a 17 hour drive that I doubt many will take.  So that leaves prob just the parents and some misc. individuals going.  My guess is you might see 200?

What is the Tommies avg attendance?

SJF 24
Tommies 20

As I predicted last week against DVC...no big turnovers or specs meltdowns and we win by 2 TDs.

At worst it is a hard-fought close loss maybe by the same score predicted above.

OK, I've tried to not talk much about my opinion of how the game is going to go so far.  But am I missing something?  24 points?  SJF scored 23 and 27 against inferior defenses.  I think SJF can win (but won't), but I honestly don't think they'll be cracking 20.  IF SJF wins it will be because they completely shut down UST's offense and win a slugfest of, maybe, 10-7 or something like that, ala Bethel.  I would be more than a little shocked if St. Thomas scores 20 and loses.

uh oh, dont get 82 going on 'politics'....they created a board thanks to me....well, actually thanks to JT, but I think I am a distant 2nd

I heard about that on the radio yesterday...what a joke...its ok to abort them, just dont overfeed or spank them once they are born

Mr. Thomas shall overeat Saterday am and then spend the rest of the day spanking Tommie's little defensive 'ends'
