Similar antics would be the only conceivable way I could see UST losing.

That's unfortunate for that player and his team. It's a worse call than the unsportsmanlike conduct call in the 2008 BYU at Washington game

Seems interesting that you'd think the only way UST loses is if the officials screw them.
Sounds to me like someone is pre-heating the "refs screwed us over" hot dish for Saturday around 5 p.m.? ???
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

In context, that post was immediately following a Johnnie's encouragement to mix it up with the whitewater fellows.

I thought the hyperbole and ridiculousness of the statement would be obvious. I was incorrect.  :o  ::)  ???  8-)  :-X  :-\  :D  ;)

Fair enough.
I haven't had my finger on the pulse of the MIAC board for a few days, so perhaps I read it out of context.

I've had that hotdish on simmer since 2008.

Chuckle.  I'm embedding the picture for easy viewing.

And, of course, the Wiscy's are going, "And your point?"

And you have it so much better????????

Hey now, its not nice bringing a Bennie in to this. ESPECIALLY a Bennie that transferred from somewhere in the heart of Wisconsin.

If that was a Bennie it would've been taken from over a mile away.

The Johnnies FOUND IT!!!! The rare and elusive Bennie that they've been searching for all these years. It took many a back road cruise with copious amounts of natty ice drank but they have found their prize and will now enjoy the fruits of their labors...

I just threw up in my mouth...thanks for that. ;)

Good luck this weekend to UWW and their Athletic Director, Dr. Paul Plinske.  Dr. Plinske was a stud athlete in football and basketball at Bethel during the early 1990's, and his father was the defensive coordinator for Bethel as the football program began its rise from the depths of the MIAC to where it is today.
The artist formerly known as Carl Spackler... it's nice to be back!

Adversity doesn't build character; it reveals it.

Today Karl Malone talking about health. Karl Malone healthy as horse but everybody not so lucky. All kinds of Americans infected by diabetes. Diabetes infect young, old, women, men, and here Karl Malone's whole thing. Why they call it diabetes? They get people all riled up. That's why Karl Malone say change name diabetes to livebetes. That way, people won't go walking around saying "oh no, I'm gonna diabetes." Instead, they saying, "look out world, livebetes coming through." That's called positivity thinking right there, and that's kinda thing keep Karl Malone on top. Remember now, you too can prevent forest fire. Until next time, this here Karl Malone.

The problem is, the only thing bad you can say is about the state itself. Beer swilling, cheese eating, Mama Cass doppelganger girlfriend having, the whole bit. But then it just sounds like rubes outside of the Metrodome before a Vikings game.

I need Whitewater specific ammo. So far I know they've turned out a lot of NFL players for a D3 school and they got the good Belushi. The worst part is, their fans (on PP anyway) are nice and level headed, and really want to talk football. A$$holes.

Chubbs just beat me to it, but if you want to hate on UWW, hate the fact that a Bethel guy is a part of the reason they're on top. Coach B set the foundation, but Dr. Plinske had the guts to go against the grain and hire LL as the heir. In hindsight it looks brilliant, but if it hadn't worked out, Dr. P would have probably been on the hotseat.

All that to say, a Tommie fan should have no problem hating UWW for the Bethel connection right  ;D Then again, if you think their PP fans are nice, bright and level headed you'll have even more trouble disliking them for their AD. To say the apple didn't fall far from the tree is a huge compliment. Coach Plinske was a great coach and even better man. His son is no different on the administrative side of things.

meanwhile a sad note. Longtime MIACers might remember when UMD (which won the two of the past three d2 titles) was in the league with guys such as Ted McKnight (Chiefs) and Terry Egerdahl. They were coached by Jim Malosky, who passed away this week. Hard-nosed Ranger from Crosby.  RIP to an old-school coach.
