Happy Holidays MIAC PP!  I will be back to the board after the first of the new year!  Safe travels to all.

If you find yourself bored over the holidays I would suggest the following brews:

New Belgium 1554
Great Lakes Brewing Co. Edmund Fitzgerald
Avalanche IPA
Stone Levatation Ale

Also it's never to early to drink Surly!
JOHNNIES could be partial to New Belgium ABBEY Grand Cru  8-)
The older the violin - the sweeter the music!

Merry Christmas all.  I hope you have been good and Santa delivers your secret gift.

I'll be spending yet another non-white Christmas down at the beach.  And while that is quite enjoyable for many obvious reasons, it still doesn't feel like a real Christmas.  I'll make sure to include a happy snap here, though, so that you all can judge for yourselves just how un-Christmassy all that fun I'm having is.

Unless we're discussing beer...on that note, had a Breckenridge 471 Double IPA the other night, very tasty.

I picked up a sixer the other day.  Life has gotten in the way recently, so I haven't tried it yet, but I am looking forward to it.  The stuff isn't cheap, though!  :o

No it isn't. I just bought a sixer last week to share with a buddy who was coming into town. Let me know what you think. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Similar note:

Tried a Gulden Draak (Dark Triple). It's a Belgian Style Strong Dark Ale. Very smooth with a warm sweet flavor.

But the real Christmas treat was my buddy busting out his bottle of Oak Aged Dark Lord Imperial Stout
This bad boy comes from Three Floyds Brewing Co. in Munster Indiana. They only brew it once a year and it spends a full year aging in the oak barrels and they don't distribute it. You have to go to the Brewery/Pub and buy it in person on Dark Lord Day. Very limited release and each year they seal it with a different color wax so you know which vintage you've got. I had the 2010 version. Wow! Unbelievable beer. And a mere 15.0% ABV

Oz,

Unless a freak snowstorm comes through, we will have a brown Christmas here in MN.
The early season snow has all melted & we have been in in a drought around here

I don't know what you all have asked for from Santa, but the four-year-olds of Queensland in northern Oz have their list all sorted out...

From the panhandle of Florida (where we had 70* and thundershowers yesterday), a very merry Christmas to all!
