Ok, with slow work and the holiday period and all this talk about Flynn, I have just cracked open one of the Flynn books that my folks left on one of their visits.  I'm giving The Third Option a go.  Apparently the main character is double crossed by his own guys and he "goes all medieval on their ass" (I watched Pulp Fiction last night).

I've never been into Clancy or Childs or the Bourne guy either.  I've tried them all but the super badass good guy thing just doesn't do it for me.  I enjoy crime fiction from Michael Connolly and his Harry Bosch character.  I got his latest, The Drop, for Christmas and read it in a day down at the sister-in-law's place.  I'll give Flynn a solid read tonight after work and see where we get to.

SUMMIT!!!!!

is anyone else watching this Baylor-Washington game? I thnk they have score more points in 1 game than Hamline did all season....60-56 with 8 mins to go
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

I'm back at work in Melbourne, but Mrs Oz is still down at the beach with the girls.  It was a nice day today.

If people enjoy the Flynn books you should try some of the Brad Thor books, Mitch Harvath is another Anti-terrorism bad-ass.  These also should be read in order if possible.  The first is the Lions of Lucerne, a very good read.  I also got the new Tom Clancy and a Clive Cussler book for Christmas.  Can't wait to read them.

If you want a non-fiction bad ass anti-terrorism book,  "Lions of Kandahar" http://www.amazon.com/Lions-Kandahar-Story-Fight-Against/dp/0553807579 is an excellent read.  Gives you an idea about why Afghanistan has been such a mess.

I don't know why that previous post keeps freaking out.  I think I have the syntax right, but there must be an error somewhere.  Anyway, you'll just have to fight through the results yourself.

Level 3 this morning.  Not too bad, considering.

Have fun everyone and best wishes for the new year.
