Wow, that is one HUGE All-American list. Seems like each team has 2-3 guys on this list.

That BSN preseason "all american" team has zero credibility, IMO.  Over 200 players listed?  Give me a break.

Pretty much what websites like that are doing is trying to get their name out by naming as many players/teams as reasonably possible.  If they would be more selective in choosing A-A's then that means less eyes seeing their name/brand.  To me, it's disingenuous.

Yeah, my initial reaction was, who in the world is BSN?  ???

It reads more like a compiled list of each conference's preseason All-Conference picks.

Well, that's what happens when you live in a society where "every child is a winner."  We're just creating mediocrity these days.   ;D

Kindly move this discussion to the "Political Board"-to avoid offending some who truly feel their kid is the best at everything  ;)

My kid is not the best at anything except modesty.  In that respect they are better than any other kid alive.

Think this has ever or will ever happen in JohnnieRed's courtroom?

Sheesh, it's as quiet in here as a UST football boosters event after the shrimp cocktails have run out.

Speaking of odd courtroom events:

Mrs Oz is a family lawyer, or used to be anyway, and spent many days in court with child custody and estate disputes. I often laugh at the story of when she was examining a witness and caused the poor woman to vomit while under questioning. It was her own client, of course. A hard woman, Mrs Oz.  I always say that if someone feels stress and poorly handles confrontations while at work then they are married to the wrong woman.

Didn't realize two Gopher assistants had DIII/Mount Union connections:

Jay Sawvel (Mount Union '93) Defensive backs/special teams
Jim Zebrowski (Mount Union '91) Quarterbacks

Interesting for what it's worth. Of course, those connections might not last for long if things don't start to turn around soon.  :o

Pat Coleman

Zebrowski is the former head coach at Lakeland, former offensive coordinator at UW-Whitewater (including a championship ring) and former quarterbacks coach at Northern Illinois.
