Broken jaw. Big time suspension to come.
Attn: Fins, ROR, JJR, DustySJU & any other guy of a certain age:

I'm flashing back to the Marty O'Neil & Wally Carbo days of the AWA- The American Wrestling Association

One of the heels would just get done breaking a folding chair (or better yet, the ringside bell) over the head of a pretty boy & Carbo would grab the microphone from O'neil and scream at the top of his lungs, "Commissioner Stanley Blackburn will be handing out fines & suspensions for these unprovoked, illegal and cowardly actions" heck, I watched AWA almost every Sunday night in the mid to late 60's with my grandpa (until his death in 1968) and I don't recall ever seeing Stanley Blackburn (I was only 6 yrs. old in 1968, so maybe I wasn't paying close attention) But I think Commissioner Blackburn was an Urban Legend.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Three games!  That's it.  Jeez.  The guy with the broken jaw is expected to miss four matches.  You think the suspension would be at least 50% more than the injury.  What do I know?

It could be my early onset dementia, but I thought I remember seeing the Commissioner once.  I'll check with my older brother.  He is the ultimate authority on all things AWA.

If this Australian thing doesn't get handled by the proper authorities, I suppose it will have to be in a cage match, SATURDAY AT THE ST. PAUL CIVIC CENTER! Card will include High Flyers against Jerry Blackwell and Mr. Saito, and Mad Dog Vachon taking on Nick Bockwinkle. Rod Trongard will be on play-by-play.

Ready to kill an hour or so?

A youtube search for classic AWA wresting.  It comes back with 1,670 hits.  My eye was caught by the 19th video:  Superfly Jimmy Snuka & Greg Gagne vs King Kong Bruiser and Nord the Barbarian.  Now that's classic.

Wasn't Nord the Barbarian the son of a car dealer in Anoka and did those classic late night car ads where he was always throwing someone through the windshield of some vehicle on the lot?

I don't like the font in this end zone either.

Anybody listen to Jeff Dubay interview on 'CCO w/ Chad Hartman this afternoon.  Very compelling stuff.

I'm pretty open minded and liberal in many ways however this has got to stop.  Call me traditional but a football field should be made of grass whenever possible.  When that is not realistic then the artificial turf should be GREEN!

I think the jury is still out.  He seems to being doing ok...only time will tell.  Here's the link to the interview.

Needs more ads.  At first glance I thought you posted a picture of augsburg's new field.  The auggies would have to be the favorite to be the first with non-green turf.
