Dammit. SJU v. UWEC is the same time as Stout v. Jamestown. Finsleft 1/2 hour away w/cold Hamm's. Dammit.

Easy choice, BDB...unless, of course, you're getting the "Blue Devil Booster-of-the-Year" award again at halftime.

Fins, I expect text updates on your game and maybe slip by the Alehouse on your way back and I'll buy you 1 or 6.
Watch the Twitter feed with hashtag #SJUfootball...should keep you up to date on the highlights of the road trip and the game.

(Or stay at my place again and we'll take the boat over to the Tiki Bar)  8-)
Now this is pretty tempting... 8-)

cobbernation

Congrats Bench on getting hitched.  As for being married for 3 years now it's not what everyone says it is......it's much worse.  Cleaning house and mowing yard on Sundays = awful.  Going to grandparents in law on a fall weekend isn't much better.  Haha.  It's really not that bad!

Did you all see the cobbers squeak past Jamestown?  Looks like the running game and passing game are similar to last season which may results in 6 wins again or on a more optimistic approach they run the table.

Finally, do yourselves a favor and buy local beer out of Cold Spring, MN.  The beer is called 3rd Street Brewery and have 3 beers available now.  IPA, Cream Ale and Brown Ale.  MMmmmmm!

Gustavus continues to churn out talent.

Nice afternoon break peepin' cheerleader babes.

I was going into the Piggly Wiggly in Lake Geneva yesterday, when I see a somewhat striking lady exiting, along with a toddler. I was trying to be discreet while checking her out, when as she passed, I swear she was wearing a T-shirt that said "Gusties Football". Now I'm not going to go back and take another look, but I'm pretty sure my old eyes did not deceive.

Getting on a plane soon for NOLA fellas. So, that's two non-conference UST games I will be finding out about retroactively. Good news is UWRF is at home, so I think the Tommies will take this one.

Bourbon St., air boat ride, have some beers, haunted ghost tour, live jazz, Saints v. Redskins NFL home opener, have some beers...come back home, get back to neutral, have some beers, work for for four days, drive to St. Cloud, have some beers, get up early, get to Collegeville, have some beers, watch UST/SJU, have some beers

Looks like I got a pretty sweet 10 days coming up. Nice.

Bovey Farmer's Day...  I used to hate my folks dragging me to that, but now I miss it.  Must be gettin' old.  Someone pass me my meds.

My folks told me the fair isn't what it used to be either.  $3 admission now.  It just ain't fittin'.

The $3 fee is only if you park in the main fair lot...if you park on the streets near where all of the rides are, they don't enforce any admission price and you can just walk in.

Don't forget about Tall Timber Days...don't you guys like the arts and crafts that the event is centered around?  ;)
