Does UST offer a Video stream for its home games? Or Live Stats?

Assuming they do, where can I find the link(s)?

Thank you

Kirchoff Update: Surgery went well and the Kidney is functioning. He's obviously in a bit of pain, but things seem to be on the right trajectory.  Praise God and hopefully it continues to go well!

That is good to hear! I hope for a speedy recovery for both him and his sister.

Absolutely! I haven't heard any update on his sister. I'm assuming no news is good news there. From what I understand the donor part is pretty straight forward. So I'm hoping that means she's doing well.

Last week the Johnnies gave up 104 yds rushing and 177 yds passing to Northwestern  (281 total).  SJU defensive coach Jerry Haugan was heard on the postgame radio show saying that was too many yards.

At Eau Claire the BluGolds gained 87 yds on the ground and 201 yds in the air versus the Tommies.
Wishful thinking is that SJU's defense gained some much needed experience and will have things shored up tomorrow.  However the BluGolds return both their QB and RB from last season and just in case you may have forgot they tore up SJU last year (227 on the ground and 242 in the air).

It's my opinion that today's game looms larger than the matchup w/ UST next week.  A competitive game by the Johnnies will instill some confidence in team.  A victory will convince them that things are back on track.   A train wreck and it could be a whole lot of doom and gloom going into the Tommie game.

Is it my turn for a no video from Clemens rant? We''ll gladly watch the UWEC feed here from DC today ... and then grumble as we miss the entire upcoming home schedule.

Note to Tom Stock and the SJU braintrust: Of the top 10 games on today's schedule, nine will be available on video. Join the current millennium, it ain't that bad. The SJU brand is damaged much more by mediocre teams than it is by webcasting.

So from what I understand you can find Veek here today: http://www.littlefallsmnchamber.com/arts.htm
Veek, I thought I saw you in the picture.
Should be an interesting day in Eau Claire-is SJU back? Can Eau Claire coaches blow another game? All leading up to next week and big show down-will it be like 2011 or like 1993?

Quick reaction after Bethel's 1st Game:

D played great.

Linebackers and front 7 were phenomenal. Mathis was all over the place. INT, sacks/pressure. Sideline to sideline, he was everywhere. Skoog, has a strip/sack returned to the 9 for the first score and then an INT that broke the game open. They have a ton of depth at OLB and Mathis is just a freak.

Impressive opening against an offense that put up 73 points last week. Granted, the opponent was garbage, but that's still lots of points and a game under their belt. Loved what I saw. Lots of speed, pressure and turnovers. Need to watch the penalties, one PF was a bad call, but need to keep the aggressiveness under control.

O looked sluggish early, but 2nd half looked promising.

Run game took its lumps in the first half, but Wartburg is always great defensively, speed and scheme-wise. Took some time to get settled and losing Phenow and Marquardt certainly didn't help. Hopefully that's nothing serious.

Second half, offensive started coming to life. Good to see some halftime adjustments.

Peterson impressed me. First start, on the road, against a quality opponent. Good mobility. Some good passes down field. Took care of the ball. There's some real potential here.

Having Hillbrands and Hallstrom at WR is great. Two legit weapons that are just matchup problems. Hallstrom is just too big, physical and fast for most DIII DB's. Hillbrands, at 6'5" 205, with his leaping ability, is simply atypical at this level. This could develop nicely. Dunnick, et al fill this position out nicely. We might be looking at a legit passing game this year. If the run game hits its stride, which history says it will, this could be a good season.

And we appear to have a kicker and punter!!

Game one under our belt. Now, lets make the jump in improvement that you want to see between week 1 and 2. On to BV.

To fans of D-3 football everywhere.  I am honored to have been asked to spread the word regarding a new cancer fund that has been established to help Tom Pattison, UW-W sports broadcaster and founder of www.warhawkfootball.com    I and my family know, all to well, how a cancer diagnosis can be devastating to a families daily lives and finances. Please, consider making even the smallest donation to Tom.

The following is an open letter by Retired UW-W Coach Bob Berezowitz:

Team Tom Cancer Fund Drive established

Once a Warhawk, always a Warhawk are the often spoken words by Tom Pattison, longtime "voice" of the Warhawks. Over the many years of broadcasting UW-Whitewater football, basketball and baseball games on KOOL 106.5 (and prior to that (940 WFAW), Tom has "bled purple" during each one of his broadcasts.

Unfortunately, on May 28, 2012 Tom was diagnosed with advanced stage 2 colon cancer. He underwent colorectal cancer surgery in Fort Atkinson and in the process has developed astronomical hospital and medical bills.

Tom has already gone through the first phase of radiation treatment at the UW Cancer Clinic along with chemotherapy with phase two starting later this month.

Tom has given his heart and soul to Warhawk athletics over his 25 years of living here in southern Wisconsin. He served six years as the president of the UW-Whitewater Quarterback Club and still serves on the club's board of directors.

In 2003 Tom founded Warhawkfootball.com where Warhawk fans, players, former players and parents have been able to view up-to-date Warhawk football news and information 365 days a year. Nearly 1.5 million visitors have clicked onto the Website over the years.

The Website that has been funded entirely by Tom has been a popular "voice" for Warhawk football fans not only locally but around the world.

Well now Tom needs your assistance in his battle with cancer.

With the help and leadership of UW-Whitewater Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Paul Plinke and former Warhawk football coach Bob Berezowitz and KOOL 106.5 Radio a team has been set up to lead a campaign to raise funds for Tom.

The "Team Tom Cancer Fund" has been established through Commercial Bank in Whitewater and is now accepting donations.

Donations may be sent to: Team Tom Cancer Fund, c/o Commercial Bank, 200 South Freemont St. Whitewater, WI 53190

The fund raising drive will also include Tom Pattison Day at Perkins Stadium on Oct. 6, 2012. More details will be announced shortly.

"I have known Tom for many years while coaching and now in retirement," Berezowitz said. "There is not another person who has given more of himself to help promote UW-Whitewater football. He is always writing articles for both past and present players that are published on his Website.

It is now our turn to say "thank you" for his efforts by considering making a donation to the to assist Tom in his time of need.

Go Warhawks,

6 - 0 Week 2 for the MIAC!

Some surprising wins this week. Shaping up to be a competitive conference season. I like it  :)

BleacherBum

Johnnies were good enough today! Too early in the season to say a great game. Always nice to start 2-0.

Eau Claire played another good game. Easily could be 2-0 instead of 0-2. Tough to lose 2 at home to open the season, but they should be primed for the tough WIAC schedule. Great game, nice stadium, and thanks for the live video feed for those of us who couldn't make the trip!

Not that it needs any more drama, but the Tommies and the Johnnies open the MIAC undefeated. All we can tell from the common opponent is that two great teams are going to rumble in Clemens Stadium next weekend!

Congrats to the Johnnies, Congrats to the MIAC on another great weekend of football.

So let me just throw this out there.

Mac is clearly improving. Their records are hovering around .500 and maybe even moving north of there. The competition isn't incredible, but it seems to be slowly rising as well. Today's win was a nice showing.

Is it realistic to think that in 2-3 years they could be ready to return to the MIAC? They're definitely better than Hamline at this point (they also left the MIAC when they were that level as well).

Just wondering. Maybe they've got no desire to return. But I think they said when they departed that once they felt they could compete they'd come back. Is that realistic in a few years? Not that they'll be competing for a title, but that they could be respectable?
