1) Sagatag - will you be up for the festivities this weekend?

Negative, big fella. I'm trapped within the clutches of Ft. Benning, GA this weekend.

Sure wish SJU had a live stream via webcast so I could get a little bit of the sights with the sounds on WBHR.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Remember, this goes deeper than St. John's just not providing a service to their fans that 95% of other schools do, they demanded that PC and d3football.com not conduct their own free broadcast.

That's true -- we did request video broadcast rights two years ago and were turned down.

SJU has clearly demonstrated they have the capability to video webcast.  Last year they webcasted the final home basketball game and they've done others as well.  They obviously believe it would affect their attendance numbers and to them that is more important than the exposure the webcast would provide.  Frankly there are many aspects of the SJU athletic department that are really irritating me these days.

I thought the reason was that Gags was worried that the video would give the opponents access to all the games then. I don't know how many films each opponent gets-wasn't it 2 or 3?

This is clearly a premeditated shot at your Facebook group. They obviously don't think you've got the pull to be effective. As far as I'm concerned, the SJU administration has challenged your manhood.

I love stirring the pot  ;D

This is why I hate that it's so early in the season. No build up. All we know is both teams had tough wins over a common opponent and blew out some ding dongs they should have blown out. It's like having dessert first.

Well here's one for ya from his speech at SJU last night:

Coming from a guy that attended college in Vermillion, SD I'm going to take that with a grain of salt.

Don't get cocky now just because you're leading the Pick'ems. It's only Week 2.

Allow me to join the ranks of people who think it's ridiculous that this game is played in September. It's way too early for a game of this stature.

Maybe I can help:

UST went public with the collective buttocks of its student population and made $7 million

UST once hosted the Grammys and gave every award to Cory Hart

Unfortunately, according to the Christmas card guy, http://tommiesports.com/ftbl/news/Quick_911.html , this is the new normal for the next few years, with this match up as the opener in 2013, and week 2 game in 2014 and 2015.
