Johnnie Red

Tommie fans who will be making the trip to Collegeville on Saturday, please join us at the Stiftungsfestivities tailgate party in the parking lot above the scoreboard end of the field. Bring along a culinary delight to share if you like. We usually get the party going around 10:00 a.m., though a number of us will be there by 8:30 a.m. getting everything set up for the party.

From Tommie Media: Tommie-Johnnie history: location, timing and attendance

"Senior Alyssa Hollenback attended the 2010 game in Collegeville, Minn., and last year's home match-up. This year, however, she said she is not going.

"I just enjoy it a lot more when it's actually here on campus. I know we're going to win, so there's really no point in me driving there to go see it," Hollenback said.

Hollenback said she's disappointed that St. Thomas has hosted one game in the last four years.

"I think it's unfair. It should be here every other year," Hollenback said."

Love it!

Could be she doesn't want to be stuck in the woods with a bunch of mouth-breathers that have to take a bus 8 miles just to see a woman.

Not to mention I'm sure all the hair-twirling, gum-chomping, abdomen-painted Bennies are also up to speed on the intricacies of the MIAC annual conference football schedule.

It's only 6 miles.

Add Senator Amy Klobuchar to the list for political celebs who will be attending the Johnnie-Tommie game on Saturday. When was the last time that our governor and U.S. senator were in attendance at a MIAC football game? Now if I could only get Paris Hilton to make an appearance in Collegeville! :o

That may also be an omen that reinforces the final score predicted by maniac. 30 - 27 are also the IQ's of those two politicians.

Yes, Yale and the University of Chicago Law School had special programs for retards from Minnesota that allowed them to attend and graduate.
And Pat locked down the political discussion board why?? ::)
Can we please keep the discussions to FB, Beer, Ice Fishing and other things not so volatile in this election season --PLEASE MAKE IT STOP :'(

I hear Michelle Bachman drinks Hamms.

This should fire you up.

Looks like "Tommies suck" is stated a little more strongly now at SJU.

So many chicks in that dude's basement I can't believe I ever went to UST.

Is this video part of a new SJU recruiting scheme?  The first 30 seconds perfectly capture what makes SJU such a special place.  A bunch of sweaty drunk dudes hanging all over each other in some random party basement—a sloppy chorus of testosterone, awkwardness, and envy.  I wonder if Caruso is losing any sleep at night thinking about how to up his recruiting game now that everyone can witness the magic of Collegeville.

I'd love to see the high-brow, soirees that go on at U$T.  Wine tastings complete with spit buckets?

A tradition unrivaled...

Fascinating. I didn't know his players called him "John" and that there wasn't any tackling at his practices.

"And he's done the majority of it at a NCAA Division III school, which doesn't offer athletic scholarships."

What a tremendous disadvantage that's going to be tomorrow....
