Slow day, I feel like should say something:

Man, what's the deal with SJU? Boy, it's like they're having trouble with recruiting or something. Has the game passed Gags by?

Maybe we're just out of topics to discuss finally.

Maybe it's time for Duff to post a picture of some obscure fish he's caught and challenge us to guess what it is.

Should be in interesting game tomorrow at Augsburg.  I haven't seen the Johnnies since week two.  Had too many things going on, including a trip to Panama City.  The Johnnie are 2-0 in games I've attended.  I hope I can bring some good luck tomorrow.

Delmon Young hit .267 this season in case anyone was wondering.

Yes, this game will be interesting indeed. We will see if the Johnnies have that same old swagger.

I'm clicking away on the Rosary in the hopes that the Johnnies can find the aforementioned swagger. However, it's looking pretty tough after last week.

Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Yeah, let's talk Johnnies...how fair is it to go 3-0 against a team, brag about it, and then disappear from the playoffs for what seems like forever?

This is the time for other MIAC posters/fans to drive the conversation about their teams, with scouting reports etc... such as yourself & Hazzben are doing. The Johnnie fans have dominated this board for a very long time, now is your turn.Don't think for a minute that the Johnnie fans are gone  ;)

Some subjects for you and others to research for off-season discussions:
Beer:it's not just for breakfast anymore.
Ice fishing techniques. Do tip-ups take the sport out of ice fishing or simply allow more time for beer?
DeWalt vs. Milwaukee cordless power-tools:advantages and disadvantages to lithium battery packs
Toro vs Simplicity: who really makes the best 27" walk behind snow blower?

Until then, enjoy the rest of the regular season  :-\

As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Hey I am ready for basketball.
No use being in the playoffs if you can't win it all-I like the idea of a break to rest up for the next championship.

Are you that eager to watch another sport where the Tommies are equally, if not even more dominant in the MIAC?

Overall I'm with you though, as much as I like football, it is fun to have college basketball games to pay attention to multiple nights each week.

I personally am not a fan of the old tip-ups. I prefer jigging and having a bobber on my other rod. Still keeps a free hand for beer/venison sticks.

On a different topic: should be a great fall day for football, hoping every teams plays well and stays healthy. Looking forward to seeing the Tommies stop GAC's "potent" rushing attack.

Still a couple months from hard water fishing.  Anybody ever go to Ice Fishing show here in St. Paul the first weekend in December?

I watched about 40 minutes of the UST inter-squad (Futures Game) yesterday.
Closed circuit to the SJU coaching staff...Why you don't do this 4 or 5 times a season boggles my mind?  You have more than 100 players that get almost zero live game action during the season. UST is "developing" younger players.  They are also providing an "opportunity" for the non travel players to demonstrate their skills in live game situation.
