We're heading to Tokyo in a couple of days to see some playoff games in the Japanese X-League, and especially to see former SJU linebacker John Stanton play (now as a TE) for the IBM BigBlue.  Last game he caught 8 passes for 166 yards and a TD (7 TDs in 5 games so far); not quite Waldvogel stats but not bad for a linebacker!  Wish us luck (to come back)!

Last week I had mentioned there was a possibility of a Hamline friend and myself hosting a pre-game this Saturday.  Sorry to say we won't be able to host...we were offered tickets to the Michigan/Minnesota game Saturday morning.  Let me know if any of the Johnnie fans will be gathering somewhere in St. Paul following the thrashing at Santa Klas field.

Johnnies now look forward to "thrashing" Hamline? Who next - Macalester?

After this season, a Mac/SJU game might be in order.

Judging by the HU game results it's not really a bold prediction.

Looks like I let everyone back in the Pick 'Ems race by failing to turn in my picks. Whoops.

Anyone going to be in Moorhead for the Tommie/Cobber tilt?

No football game is important enough to miss the deer opener.  Haha! ;D

What cobbernation said!

+K for deer opener. I'm all ready to go Thursday. Just need to stop on the way for some fresh thick slab bacon and a fresh turdy of Hamm's!

To say I'm slightly concerned about all of the injuries for the Tommies right now would be an understatement. Can anyone provide an status update on some of the key injuries?

Talked at a close relative of Dan Ferrazzo today at a marketing seminar - Dan and Matt O'Connell will be back for the Concordia game.
