I travel to New Prague for another huge girls hockey matchup in addition to juggling four other hockey related events.

That's really nice of them to separate the huge girls from the normal sized ones  ;D ;)
Just spit out my coffee - nice HB ;D

Bench Defense.
Chicago has lost more lives over a weekend than any other city, some times all of them Black.
Not subliminal facts.
Three teams in post season? No johns? Unthinkable.

Agreed, and much funnier than the monkey business in Northfield today.

Seems like Johnnies could have pretty good shot against Bethel next week. Of course they weren't beating the Royals in years when they went deep in the playoffs so I'm not exactly confident.

Thought MIAC might have three teams in playoffs. Now looks like just 1 (Johnnies don't have a chance, right?).

OzJohnnie

+k to the Johnnies on keeping the non-losing season streak alive. Damned live stream wouldn't work on the iPad so I had to get out of bed to watch.

I think the SJU - Bethel game is a toss-up right now. I don't know that SJU has the deep threats like Olaf did, which means we match up better.

But if this is John's last game, you know SJU will be pumped up. Who knows about Bethel. Do they go in the tank after peeing a Pool C bid down their leg or do they man up and finish strong. I'm guessing Coach J has them ready to play, but emotional losses are tough to get over. Wish I could be there for the game

WAHOO3

Pat -- what does Olaf beating Bethel really mean for the MIAC's pool C situation? Are the Oles really playing for anything next weekend against St. Thomas? Even IF they win, is there a chance? We remember last year that 8-2 and 2nd place in the MIAC doesn't mean anything with all the AQs.

Holy Sh#T- WAHOO (McDaniel) has risen form the dead! Glad to see the Oles still represent here. Next week we might hear from Frank Rickard reliving some stupid trap play that he actually executed well against SJU circa 2001 :o
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

PurpleReign

Congrats to the Tommies once again MIAC champions of the world,  I was really wishing that one of our little sisters would make it into the playoffs, but oh well, maybe next year.  See you in Salem.  ;D

Olaf is definitely playing for a playoff chance. Not a guarantee, just a chance.

DoubleO

Does a win next week vs. St. Olaf give the purple machine a chance to become the #1 seed in the West region?

You mean the one time he beat Duffman who thence owned him the rest of the day?   ;)

I really do believe it's time for MAC to start playing football in the conference again.
They're 5-4 and easily could have been 6-3 with a win over Carleton.  A win next week over Hamline pushes the Scots to 6-4 on the season...They could end the season w/ a better overall record than SJU.  Time for MAC to step up and honor their word that they would rejoin the league once they became competitive.

President of Bethel University spoke at my church this morning, here in the Washington D.C. Area. He spoke on many things outside of football, but did mention that they too have a great athletic program.
