Linfield fans support their team.  They talk smack and they're fun to interact with.  You go out there and you'll see how friendly they are; a great group and a great program.  They told us when we went out in 2002 that "you wont run on us" and Crowley got 120 yards I think and their QB, Matthews, spent a ton of time on his back.  They had a great back, David (), and a great team and the Linfield fans were great hosts.  They talk smack and get pissed when you refer to Linfield as "Lintfield" but, like Mount Union fans, you wont find a better or more supportive group.

Yep.  Sound the alarms to be sure.........I miss going out to Linfield and beating them after all of that smack and then having them come to SJU in 03 and beating them again - the year their team was even better (but so was ours).  I hope Mike Grant or whomever it winds up being can get us back to that level.  Hopefully, the D coaches will stay in tact.

1. DesertCat1 (Linfield poster) feels disrespected by Double 0 (St. Thomas poster) 
2. DesertCat1 notes (and with good reason  ) that St. John's posters are a classy bunch & UST should try to emulate SJU
3.UST & SJU are bitter rivals and this admiration of SJU by a Lindfield poster does not set well with the UST crowd
4.UST Bench (a UST poster) states that UST fans were not treated well a couple years back in McMinville OR. a.k.a.-CatDome
5.DesertCat1 disagrees with UST Bench (adding my own personal twist- I've been to McMinville & was treated well by the fan base)

I have met DesertCat1 in 2003 at SJU & he is a class act. I also have gotten to know UST Bench over the past decade (being conference rivals) and he is one heck of a nice guy (he also out punted his coverage by convincing Mrs. UST Bench to be his bride  ). All in all the MIAC board has pretty good folks, some like to talk smack & others who are not accustom to this may not know they are being a bit sarcastic.

Cheer for your squad for 2 more weeks & then the real fun on this board begins with ice fishing,Hamm's Beer and bragging about new coaches who are going to resurrect the SJU program and new recruits who will re-rite national record books.

I guess I could do the "classy" thing if UST comes up short this weekend and just arbitrarily rip on Baldwin-Wallace and Hardin-Simmons fans. Because, you know, that would make sense.

But if DesertCat is done projecting his sour grapes on UST, I'd like to hear any UWO or Linfield fans weigh-in on what to expect from the Titans. I was battling buffering and a bad camera angle to get any real knowledge of their offense/defense.
