Then again, I remember the last time a MIAC team wasn't given any chance in a Stagg Bowl against Mount.  ;) Of course, that team had Johnnie Jesus playing practically every skill position on offense.
Yea, what the heck. WR , PR, KR- why not TB  ;D
That guy was one of a kind and a great guy----> yea AO he hails from Melrose, home of the Dutchman  8-)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Hazzben,

I can assure you that very few Mount fans hold that opinion. We respect the St. Thomas program and its accomplishments. You don’t go unbeaten and advance to the championship without being a quality team.  I expect nothing short of a great effort from the Tommies and an exciting Stagg Bowl.

Fair enough. And it probably was just a poster or two. It just sticks out when you read it. I'm sure LK and the players won't be overlooking anyone, regardless.

here's to a good matchup...

Yeah, the only one I saw was mr. mom jokingly saying he popped the championship champagne today because he needed to get his heart rate down (and mom is far from a chest thumper so I'm sure it was a joke).  There's no overlooking anyone.  UST just beat UWO.  There's no one that follows D3 that overlooks a team in the Stagg that just beat an undefeated WIAC champ in the semis.

How come I'm not surprised the Tommies beat Oshgosh.  I'll put my money on UST for the Stagg as well.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Congratulations to the Tommies! Well done.  Safe travel to all Tommie fans who are traveling to the Stagg Bowl.  8-)

Congrats! What a great win! Please, please, please, PLEASE beat Mount Union. That is all.

You gotta wonder what Roney is thinking, watching a team that he so skillfully coached to the heights of mediocrity transformed to a legitimate NCAA title contender in a few short years.  I still find it hard to believe!

A tradition unrivaled...

Great win today for the Tommies- congratulations on a well played game.  Control the line of scrimmage and you have a good chance for a Stagg Bowl championship.  Salem is a great experience and safe travels to all.

Congrats to UST on the biggest win to date in program history. Solid play all around-- offense, defense and special teams all did what needed to be done to jump to the early lead and keep UWO from staging a rally.

Also congrats to Glenn Caruso on becoming the school's all-time winningest football coach. Here's hoping for many many more wins @UST for Glenn!

Friday will mark the 8th time a UST men's team has played in the national championship gamew in the past 15 years- baseball four times (2 titles), hockey twice, basketball once (with a title) and now football.  Add to it two softball national titles, and the recent volleyball title-- all of which have come on Steve Fritz's tenure as AD.

Who has more?
The last shall be first and the shall be.......

Congrats to UST for their excellent victory over UW-O yesterday. Good luck next week, dlip will be rooting for you. What a great program top to bottom.

Mount hasn't beaten an MIAC team in the Stagg for 12 years. ;)
