Have to go with BlueDevil Bob on this one.  Since the world is going to end next Friday, giving the Purple Raiders a full week to celebrate their Stagg win!  ;D, today's the last repetitive date.

Mike Aldrich's name popped up with SJU job. Wonder if he'd be the guy for St. Olaf now that they need a coach too. Olszewski expected to go to Augustana.

Mike Grant announced the following week or two as new SJU coach (SJU has enough class to wait).

Is this wild speculation on your part or did a little red feathered bird fly near & whisper this in your ear?

After Hamline's hire of Rogosheske, I am pulling that SJU goes out on a limb and hires Ramler.  I won't be disappointed if Grant gets the job, but I would rather the school stay current in what HS students are going to be seeing around the conference.
With the changes at St. Olaf, there are sure going to be a bunch of newer/younger coaches in the MIAC. Johnson at Bethel is now the "old man" of the MIAC
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Jeez! I just offer some competing thoughts, and you think I want to stifle speculation? I could have just as easily commented on the sloppy play that I witnessed from UST in the Semi, and said the margin would be greater than 20.5. If UST plays a flwless game, they could win by 21. If my aunt had testicles she's be my uncle. If Sparticus had a Piper Cub................

I predict the Mayans go 0 for 2 on predictions. The first prediction they got wrong was the one they failed to make about their own demise. That miss kind of fatally undermines any other destruction predictions they made, in my opinion.

Fixed it for you. ;)

Raiders do NOT suck, but neither do the Tommies. Sorry Oz.

You gotta support your team. My bigotry is institutional, not personal. Except for the DC living, cocktail party attending, back of the tax payer breaking social circle set. And PurleReign. Otherwise, all good.

Actually, we've moved up to Champagne cocktails now that we're in the Stagg Bowl.  Which brings me to a question: Are we allowed to bring anything into the stadium?  Also, I booked at the Hotel Roanoke...anyone stayed there?  Thoughts on the place?

Yeah, what you would normally bring to a cold high school football game... and a flask of Hamms!! ;)

Officially, nothing in the way of food or drink can be brought into the stadium.  But from experience I can tell you that they will check your bags, and maybe your pockets, but not your sleeves.

And from experience, they don't enforce the NCAA leave and return rule because they have to let folks out to smoke. Wanna go back to the tail-gate at half time, go ahead.

SUMMIT!!!!!

Olaf website confirms thet Olszewski has accepted the job @ Augustana......maybe M Grant will apply there too (the 4th time has GOT to be the charm, right?) Olszewski would have been a great hire for SJU--- very solid coach & recruiter. Augustana got a good one

Olszewski was a quality coach. Underrated IMO. Interesting to see who Olaf hires. They've done a good job on the last two, but that's a pretty consistent turnover at HC over last decade. Tough to build lasting momentum when that keeps happening.

Perhaps Ramler is still residing in Northfield and would be interested if SJU doesn't work out?

Bingo! We have a winner. It's scary when I have the same thought pattern as the Bethel guys  ;)

(In full disclosure I've had several family members attend Bethel, one current football player)
