Maybe you guys have this head coaching thing mixed up a bit considering you haven't hired one in 60 years. 5-10 years is pretty normal tenure isn't it?

Of course, my squad is on it's 4th head coach in a decade, so that's the other side of the coin.

Channeling Dave Deland's article from this morning?  Ramler didn't flat out turn down the ideaof taking an assistant's position in the Q and A published in the Daily Planet but I think Oz has a point.  Gary would be more likely to stay on I think, and his relationships with high school coaches would be useful (Grant's never recruited, at least openly, and I have no idea if he's popular with other MN high school coaches).

These days, everyone needs a good background check, but less is known about Ramler than the other two.

I think it's more Dave DeLand channeling this board. I'm pretty sure somebody on this board was openly dreaming about the possibility of the three finalists all being part of the new staff before the SC Daily Planet hit the press this morning (or when the article was published to the web sometime late last night).

I wonder if there is an official within the SJU athletic department that would be willing to post all of the footage of the forum interviews with the finalists to YouTube? I need something to watch this weekend.

Well, faunch, I suppose they could be working on a three-way deal. So are Grant and Stock meeting with the other two now and working out plans and agreements?  I suppose they could be.

Still we're only one day removed from press conferences and interviews where all three were via HC candidates. Dealing with the disappointment and thinking about a new career plan won't be a quick thing. Who's got Jan 11?

I got tipped off to use the "inprivate" browsing function on the tools menu - blocks the cookies or whatever it is they use to track you (I'm no techie).  You open the "inprivate browser" and read the Times (or Strib, etc.) to your heart's content.

Go to your Browser Preferences and usually under Privacy settings you can clear Cookies.  I do it for SCTimes and StarTribune about once a week.
