My pick: Fasching. Everyone has written him off and his comment makes it seem like he's out in a distant and uninformed third. There's no surer way to make a guy want to leave than to treat him like a mushroom*.  And I don't think the people looking to build a bigger program would burn that bidge so brazenly. So I'm calling the rope-a-dope here and thinking that Fasching is the man.
