SUMMIT!!!!!

I'm really sensing a lack of self worth issue with these Toms.  Lots of concern about karma, defining big time, we are you aren't.

I wouldn't want to paint all Toms with the same broad brush.  My daughter is a mature, self confident and accomplished grad.

p.s.  If my son had gone to U$T I'd have put everything he owned in the front yard, changed the locks and disowned him.
Somehow I truly doubt you'd have done that ROR....while it sounds good on the board, you're too good & loving of a father to actually do something like that....and I think deep down, you know I'm right  :)

tragic info there, sfury. definitely will keep them in my prayers/thoughts
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

Prayers going out sfury.  And damn these people talking football during the midst of icefishing and beer drinking seasons.  ;)
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Sfury; heart breaking. I wish that family well.

In other less heavy news, it's the annual Dads-and-Kids weekend in Anglesea again. Kids going feral and dads not caring. I'm sitting by the camping ground pool at the moment and we're about to head to the beach where the oldest will be catching a few waves and refusing to share her surfboard with her younger sisters. Fights will ensue. A few tears, I suppose. Good times.

Sfury-
This is a heart wrenching situation your friend is going though- our prayers are with he & his family .
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

For what it's worth:

My only comment: Perhaps it's too much to expect because there's a UST in his CV, but had he taken Thom Woodward's Communications 101 class, he would have known that one call to EP could have made this a lot more interesting.

Prayers for the Vandrovecs; thanks for passing this on, sfury.

Recruiting update.  Looks like Hill-Murray's WR/Athlete Michael Alada is heading to UST.  This kid is a stud.  http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Michael-Alada-133757

I guess they all announce where they are heading via twitter these days: https://twitter.com/HMFootball/status/299017328945934336.

A bit undersized, but reminds me a lot of Waldvogel.  Speaking of Waldvogel, does anyone know where his little brother is heading?

And Hockey...don't forget Hockey!!! My Ducks are doing well ( okay, not tonight! 57's Avs are ahead right now), but my Blue Jackets have been ... struggling!  ::)
High sticking, tripping, slashing, spearing, charging, hooking, fighting, unsportsmanlike conduct, interference, roughing... everything else is just figure skating.  ~Author Unknown

Try not to cry. No one wants to see that! ;)

In wrestling news, the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers won the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Dual Championship on Saturday, avenging their two losses from earlier in the season.  They really are peaking at the right time.  In the semifinal match, the Gophers defeated the University of Iowa 22-15 (Iowa beat MN 16-15 on tiebreaker criteria on January 26).  In the final match, the Gophers trounced Oklahoma State University 28-9 (OK State beat MN 22-15 on December 2).

Go Gophers!
