Don't know about you guys, but I want the Johnny's back on top of the Minn DIII conference.  The Tommies are just too ..........full of themselves!

Here we hear the constant refrain of UST: D3INO.  Maybe this signals that the time for change has finally arrived.  The MUs, UWWs, and USTs (not to mention Williams, which never seems to receive the INO treatment) of the world can stay D3.  Instead of crying foul when other teams are successful, less competitive programs can simply move on and stick to playing teams of a similar stature.  Your HUs, MACs, and SJUs can go D4.  This way everyone can feel like a winner.

AlmostEx

UST is D3INO, really, I would love to hear the case for that claim.  I rank that right up there with UST is going D1.

Lot of humility up in Collegville.....Dohkay.  Sure UST is a little big in the britches (especially as of late), but I'd say you are a little delusional of you don't recognize the same coming out of Collegeville.  Just wait for the 2013 predictions to start rolling in......they are sure to be as meek as they were after Fasching was hired.

How many years of 6-4 does Fasching get?

One, tops, but I have high expectations for 2013.  Gary is no stranger to success.

SJ1....#1 in humility.

On another note, with UST's apparent dominance in all things athletic, I wonder how long it will be before SJU alums jump ship and start wearing purple.  The situation would be similar to that which one finds with Holy Cross/Notre Dame.  Holy Cross alums love their alma mater, but many can't help but cheer for Notre Dame.

Been a JOHNNIE alum for over 50 years and I'll wear purple when Duff quits fishing ;)

Yeah, I'm thinking about that.  Just too much power in the purple.  I can't take it anymore.  I'm a bandwagon jumper.

In other news, I'm giving birth tomorrow.

I may wear Linfield purple.
I may wear Mount Union purple.
There is even a small chance that I may wear Whitewater purple.
I will never wear Tommie purple.

A tradition unrivaled...

Oh for sure, there is no lack of arrogance in Collegeville. It's just more tolerable coming from a proven program.

Hmmm, so how many regular season wins in a row before UST can be considered "proven?" Say 35 or so?

Yes, that is probably enough wins for some folks. They have "proved" that they are a very good regular season team.

Lindy's has:

UST: 2
Bethel: 12

The story features SJ1 and Fasching's outlook. Had to laugh when the articles says that Fasching's sees Concordia and Augsburg as "stalwarts."   That's Caruso's word of choice, drops it at least three times an interview.  Imitation is the highest form of flattery I suppose.

I know for a fact that Caruso's most used word every single day is "the".  I use "the" a lot too.  I've got one up on ROR.  Tomorrow I'm having Caruso's baby.
