I don't recall any discussion of beer the last few days so you didn't really miss that much, Duff.  ;)
I enjoyed some Spotted Cows at the lake the past few days.  That should get your Wisconsin blood pumping.  ;D

After a certain # of posts, you gain the ability to "applaud" or "smite" a member.  There is really no significance to it, but as a Tommie fan, you should probably get used to having negative karma.  Your football team may be better, but we control the karma!  :D

There is really no need to get worked up about a meaningless number.  ::)

SUMMIT!!!!!

Received and email from Vince Flynn's pubisher and thought I'd share a portion of it with those of you waiting for his next/final book:

"The Survivor, Vince Flynn's planned release this fall, is being postponed indefinitely. Vince had not yet completed the manuscript at the time of his passing last month. The reason it is "postponed indefinitely" as opposed to "canceled" is because it is too soon to know how much of the book was written or if Vince had plans or provisions in place in the event that he could not complete the book. As for Vince's collaboration with Brian Haig, while it is still available for preorder, for the same reasons above, we ask for your patience concerning its publication. "

I disagree. My karma is the first thing I check every morning, and the last thing I look at before I rest my head on my pillow each night.
I carefully inspect each prospective post to ensure it will gain me at least 1-2 positive karma. I once drove to Atlanta and went on an Sherman-esque arson rampage after having a daily net of negative 3 karma.
