And in other news...

I've poked around on the new official MIAC website (http://www.miacathletics.com/landing/index) and cannot find anywhere for me to contact them concerning why the upcoming fall season schedules are not yet posted there. Maybe someone affiliated with the site is a lurker here and will pass along the concern.

I better qualify that comment. If you go to this page (http://www.miacathletics.com/sports/fball/index) and then click on the team names on the right hand of the page you get linked to last year's results, not this year's upcoming team schedules.

Wow got really quite on the board!  Probably because the Johnnies can only type as fast as they can run ;D ;D ;D

Or they're typing slower so the Tommies can keep up reading.

Just a reminder that the Stiftungsfest is next weekend in Norwood Young America. Go to Stiftungsfest.org to see all the events, including the bands that will be playing. The Johnny Holm Band will be there Saturday night.

Speaking of the Stiftungsfestivities, it is time to start gearing up for the Johnnie tailgate season that will begin on Saturday, September 14 when the Johnnies host Eau Claire. I am wondering who we should be sending invitations out to for the home games. Michele Bachmann, the Vikings cheerleaders, Lady Gaga and/or Paris Hilton? :o

Love it!! I will live with it as long as the score board keeps ringing true for the Tommie's as it has been in the MAIC!!  Bring it on let's play some football!!! Sorry just got back from the Bears game had a few scotches and ready for some pigskin...hint wear paints with large socks they never search the back of your leg for a bottle...yes we were safe a grabbed a driver! 8-) Too bad for Matt Blanchard a war-hawk and local boy got hurt we hope he is ok! Can't wait for that Tommie Johnny Game when UST Destroys the Little Johnny's!!! :o ;D ;D

:D

Touchdown Tommy, snoop dawg and that Ole from Texas all wrapped into one.  And he's a Tommie to boot.  I don't need a Christmas present now.

I bet CT was a joy at his son's youth sports events. I wonder if he trash talked the other parents at Orientation this summer... "My kid is going to get all A's, start on the football team as a freshman (only because they wouldn't let him start for UST his senior year in high school), be student body president for 4 years and your child is going to be living in your basement for the rest of their lives!" 8-)

Please, the number of Tommies living in their parent's basement after graduation has to be rather low.  Perhaps the guest house...

Well, we have a Mayor (finsleft)
and a President of the CAC (Touchdown Tommy)
and a Sergeant at Arms (Duffman)
and a girlfriend (bennie)
and a Judge (Johnnie Red)
and the MIAC legal Dream Team (too many to mention).

And now we have a pet!

Snoop Dawg is sailing in his yacht off the southern California coast trying to find one more year of eligibility so he can take his son on recruiting trips to SJU, Mount Union, Whitewater, and Linfield.  Hell, I'm sure UST would take Snoop's $40 so his kid could showcase his skills at the Tommies Elite prospect camp.

I miss Snoop Dawg.  I lived vicariously through him.  I think TC, another long lost poster, spends a week with him on his yacht each summer.

Last time I looked they sell alcohol at NFL games.

CT, me thinks you use the "back of the leg, big socks, scotch trick" at a UST game they might be on to ya!

I was thinking of some posters from the past that we haven't seen in awhile and I looked into Janesville Flash. He was last active in February of this year but hasn't posted since 2011. I remember he had some eye problems so stayed off the computer.

You forgot to mention Mighty Royal.  I forget Mighty Royal.  I miss Flash, too.  At least now we have Chicago Tommie.  CT reminds me of a guy from Texas whose son was recruited to play QB at Illinois College a few years back.  He announced, Texas style, that the Blueboys were gonna take no hostages, and his son was going to lead them.  Pat will remember.  Unfortunately, he didn't last, but I think CT may be here for a while, just to make Oz happy if nothing else.

Since I wasn't making a list I didn't forget Mighty Royal. But I agree I miss him too. He used to proclaim himself as the only regular Bethel poster on the board. I know he gave as good as he got. Maybe then he was the lone Bethel poster, I don't know.
He got pissed about something and left.

granpa bethel was a classic too, the name escapes me at the moment.  And for sheer amusement The White Silly should have a return engagement from planet Zoltar.

Here we go down memory lane. +k

The White Silly. Classic MIACPP and one of Duffman's favorites.
