Ok will will see!!! Is the name of your team Aspergers? Remember I am new to the conference... I am sorry I am not familiar with your school plus I don't think your team has done much lately why would this year be any different.  Sorry just busting your chops!  Gotta go! Wife yelling at me! Late for Manny's

After a 7 year hiatus from this board I am back.  Been reading for the last five years, but seeing the way Chicago Tommie posts, we need some more SJU faithful on this board to pick apart his views.

That being said, I spent some time looking at film on some of the new out-of-state freshmen on the Johnnies roster.  The one that excites me the most is Jakob Certeza; looks like a big back with decent speed who can pound the ball.  I like having good California and southern kids, because the level of ball they play in high school is so much better than the Upper Midwest.

Hello everybody! I guess I am a pet??? You guys up in Johnny land are little strange? But I would have texted alittle earlier but I was driving up to St. Paul to drop off my son at Tommie camp! Yes they sell beer and wine at soilders field no whiskey or scotch so if they sold it I wouldn't need to bend the rules! And bring it on I love the banter and I am looking forward to Mannys tonight!
CT-
Manny's!? Now you are on the Auggie side of The River! As far as that fancy scoreboard you like so much; it might ring true this fall at U$T but when you come to Augsburg in November you will be going home disappointed!

When George Ravaling coached FB and BB at a Catholic H.S. he was asked how he could tell the fb players from the bb players....simple, I have them run through the forest the ones that run in trees are my fb players.

Not word for word guys but do we ever beleive in each other ::) Sometimes I find it hard to beleive myself ;D ;D

May each and everyone in the MIAC have a safe and prosperous yr.

Am I going to have to get my Grammar/Spelling cap out of the closet?

And in other news...

I've poked around on the new official MIAC website (http://www.miacathletics.com/landing/index) and cannot find anywhere for me to contact them concerning why the upcoming fall season schedules are not yet posted there. Maybe someone affiliated with the site is a lurker here and will pass along the concern.

I better qualify that comment. If you go to this page (http://www.miacathletics.com/sports/fball/index) and then click on the team names on the right hand of the page you get linked to last year's results, not this year's upcoming team schedules.
If you look above the standings box on the football page, you will see a link for "schedule/results"...try clicking that and see what happens. :)
Pretty straight-forward. I for one like the new MIAC site....except some issues with color scheme, which I understand are being modified.

SUMMIT!!!!!

for all you Vince Flynn/Mitch Rapp fans out there....I've found 2 authors who come close to filling the void created by Vince's passing.

The first is Ben Coes and his Rapp-like character Dewey Andreas. I'd recommend taking Coes' 5 novels in order, as like the Rapp series, there is a continuity to them. Although, like Flynn's work, each stands nicely on its own. I just finished his mose recent, Eye for an Eye...it was impossible to put down.

The second is Alex Berenson. I've only read his first novel, which was gripping. A friend of mine recommeneded him, and Berenson was a favorite of Flynn. Based on the first book, I've gotten the next couple.
