Is the St Johns/Eau Claire game being streamed?

The short answer is no.   >:(

Johnnie fans who can't make it to the games must love it when they play away.

How about a straw poll for tonight's game - who's going?

I wish I could but having to be at work at 6:00 am on Friday takes the fun out of a weekday game. And I only see an audio link on D3 Football's Top 25 Schedule. Is this game not being streamed? If that's true, it's a shame because I would think that it would get some national viewers, as there is not much else going on tonight.

Updated that. Not sure how good their video is but they list a link.

I'll be joining 57, Bennie, and Oz watching the webcast from Amsterdam.  Oops.  Listening to Mark and Brian.  Some things never change.  Sorry I'm missing you on this one 56321.  Try to keep TDT  from offending anyone since I won't be there to babysit.   ::)
Would a visiting team be allowed to do their own video-cast from Clemmons?

Do you think its possible or even make sense to have a D3 TV Network to televise game on ESPN Oucho " from the movie Dodge Ball" or something??? I have 500 or more channels of crap on most of the time. Again with all the D3 schools there has to be a play for it.  What do you guys think???

It's been a hot-button topic for fans for years, but the administration refuses to budge on the issue.

If Tommies are again in a position of running up the score against the Johnnies, I have no problem if it's the starters doing it or a third-stringer. It's the old saying, don't like it, stop them. And obviously the Johnnies have had starters putting up scores long after the game was decided. And that was fine. That said, when the Johnnies would put up 50 or 60 or more it wasn't necessarily the starters but the backups who continued passing, which always upset people even though that's perfectly fine too (why should a backup who hardly gets to play only get to hand off the ball?).

To me the reason you want to get starters out is solely because of injury possibility, not because it's unsportsmanlike.

I don't mind running up scores. As I've mentioned before, running up the score is an integral part of Aussie sporting culture as scoring percentage is the first tie breaker in everything. Last year, #1's netball team was thrashed and they didn't win a single game. But it built character because they kept playing hard and learning.  By the end of the season they were losing 12-10 or so instead of 25-1. And this year they are top of the ladder with a 250% scoring percentage and playing in the Grand Final on Saturday. This year #3's basketball team is being thrashed something fierce, but they managed to pull of a victory three weeks ago and it was as sweet for them as food for Ghandi.

So I'm all for playing your hardest, staying committed and earning that sweet victory.

The answer would appear to be no. We have asked for rights to do it ourselves in the past and been rebuffed as well.

On the chance that SJU would host a playoff game again, they would not have the ability to say no -- that would be the NCAA's game to grant rights to, but that hasn't come up since we last requested rights.

A 250% scoring percentage?  :o :o I'm imagining an average of 2 and a half made shots per possession meaning your team has managed to smuggle some extra netballs onto the court.

This diehard SJU supporter will be huddled around his computer and cheering for a blowout by St Glenn and his relatives (F.A.M.I.L.Y) tonight over UW-RF. My nephew will be making his first ever road trip for the Tommies. Would love to see the kid get in and have a chance to make a few plays. Now I feel dirty. Time to take a shower.
