If I could translate, Bennie might think Caruso wears his big brothers clothes, but the Reverend just insinuated Gags can no longer dress himself (did I get that right?).

As if a run-of-the-mill Tommie could come up with an indirect insinuation.  I think he meant nothing beyond trying to insult an old man.

Someone please bring back bench for this week at least. The whole season if possible.

As the MIAC race is about to be to begin, I would like to encourage all D3 fans to employ the Caruso Respect-O-Meter, which reveals the level of respect the opposition commands from the lofty perspective of mighty UST as game day unfolds. The Caruso Respect-O-Meter, consists of three disrespectful play calls.  Your team is respected if none of these are used against you.  On the other hand,, if all three are activated, then your stalwarts are viewed as mere cannon fodder and are viewed as no more than a poll enhancing opportunity.  To wit, the "up yours" play calls include (1) go for 2 after the first UST TD (even though the cock-eyed PAT alignment is correctly defended); (2) fake a makeable FG inside the red zone on 4th-and-long early in he game; and (3) after taking control of the game with a  4th quarter TD, immediately try an onside kick on the ensuing kickoff.  Sorry, UWRF fans, your team earned a perfect score of disrespect Thursday night. RIP.

Hmmm...I guess Coach Caruso can't do anything right.  Here's what the right type of coaching looks like:

Zing.

Come on now Johnnies, you can't let that go unchallenged...

You got it.

It looks like the cash-strapped SJU is trying to make a few dollars and class up their end of the field in lead up to the UST game.  For all true members of the "Nation that is Unrivaled," show your team spirit by picking up some of the new game day supplies at the campus bookstore.

UPDATE: The Bennies are now onboard.  They'll be decked out in SJU colors, filled with school spirit.  To the gentlemen of Collegeville, start your engines...

UPDATE: Meanwhile at UST, we're out for a stroll and looking forward to the upcoming day of sport.

They enter every game this way.  Outstanding players from the previous week are selected to lead the team with Coach Caruso.

So at SJU, a good game may land you an award and your name listed on the award page that had your fellow Tommie all upset. At UST, a good game means you might get to hold hands with GC! Good to know! 8-)

Looking at the Star Tribune this morning, it appears that Bethel has discovered the forward pass....that'll give GC something to consider when looking past St. John's, Carleton & Gustavas to what may be the battle for the MIAC championship in Arden Hills October 19. ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Tommies suck so much they have ruined Johnnie-Tommie week.  I mean its one thing when Tommies suck just because, but it's a whole 'nother thing when they actually live the suck.

Yay! Pre-Season hockey on TV. I watched carefully and neither of the head coaches lace them up so that they could skate out onto the ice holding hands with their players... ???

I've been looking up and down the Tommie 2-deep and I see a lot of things, QBs, RBs, WRs, LBs, CBs, etc., but don't see anything for GCHHs (Glen Caruso Hand Holders), what's up with that? How is CT going to know whether his son is moving up or down on the sacred hand holding depth chart?

Did you try typing an insult in a different language into Google Translate and this is what it came up with?
