Something about this photo from the SCTimes made me chuckle but I just don't think their caption captures the true essence of the photo.

SCTimes caption: University of St. Thomas fans leave the field after Saturday's game against St. John's at O'Shaughnessy Stadium in St. Paul.

FURY:  Love it!
Any creative types out there got any thoughts on a catchy quip for it?
"Craftsmanship not Crapmanship"

*my dad has that on a sign in his workshop. It somehow seemed appropriate! ;)

Good Karma on that one! ;D

"Following a 20-18 loss against St. John's on Saturday, a group of St. Thomas football fans leave the field to prepare construction on a new bandwagon to hop on."

Young men, there's no need to feel down
I said, young men, pick yourself off the ground
I said, young men, cause we've tarnished your crown
There's no need to be unhappy

I'll dance to that.

Still just mostly Johnnies here.  You don't think there was a mass suicide pact or anything, do you?

I edited yours a bit:

Wasn't there a mass suicide out in California in the late 90's where about 30 people in a cult were found covered in purple sheets?  Sure hope this doesn't give anybody any ideas.

Pretty sure the group that committed the mass suicide to which you are referring called themselves "Heaven's Gate." (1997)
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

No, I don't think so. Just bandwagon difficulties.

They left their bodies behind, but they were gone.  (I heard they went to Chicago.)

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

Is that keeping Duff away?
I was at the UW-RF and UW-EC.  No shotgunning, though.  I'm getting old.  :o

wow...just watched the youtube video of the St. John's fans storming the field in St. Thomas!! I see many Tommy fans are avoiding the boards thus far. I'm interested to hear their reactions of not just the visiting fans storming the field, but of the game itself.

I do have a question for people on this board.  Is it a recent thing or have people seen Ramler as a good coach for some time?
I think everyone's recognized Kurt's ability for quite some time.  He did some great things with a tough situation at Carleton.  He was an offensive assistant during my senior season (2002) at SJU.  He's honestly couldn't be a much nicer person, and I was thrilled when Fasch brought him on as OC.
