Any word if they have started the sprinklers down at St. Olaf yet  ???
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Hey, PC, any chance we can go back to the old Karma display?  This one has me looking at Karma first thing to try and work out the total.  I preferred it before when I didn't look at it all that often.

It's Jimmy's fault.   ;)

Wasn't  he the offensive coordinator in '67? ::)

Was he even born by 1967??

He should have been about nine then
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Just about done on the remodel of the cat cave (Linfield) and ready to put things out again. However, I don't have all the teams from the MIAC. St. Johns, Concordia, Hamline and Gus Davis are taken care of, am still in need of the others to proudly display in the room.

It doesn't have to be anything big or even new. It can be either a men's or ladies sport or anything from your college or university
(D3)

Shot glasses, mugs, cups, banners, shirts, Decals, Programs, Key chain etc.

Please send me a message if you could help me fill the cave.

Thanks  the swede :) :) :)

I have to correct your spelling. It's Gus Davis. Don't forgrt to separate the two names and capitalize.

Thanks for pointing it out :) I should have looked on the shirt. I modified my post.

How is that relevant to whether he's to blame or not?

Ha ha!  Well played.

One of my favorite t-shirts reads: I didn't say it was your fault; I said I was going to blame you. ;)

Fixed it. Before it sounded like something CT might have read in the Chicago papers about elections.

Ok, that was too good.  Someone is impersonating Tommies around here.  PC had better check IP addresses.

Plus seeing TDT with any positive karma upsets the MIACPP Time/Space Continuum.  ;)

What I really miss is the ability to see what other posters are viewing the same page you are. We lost that function in the last upgrade.

Yeah, that was a really nice feature. Always nice to know who was lurking!

Statistical tidbit, for what it's worth (which is true unless I misread one of the years on the SJU site):
This is first time since 1967 SJU hasn't scored more than 20 points in one of the first four games. Before that? 1955.

So hopefully it doesn't continue like '67, when Johnnies went 3-5. Defense only gave up 9.6 ppg. But offense only scored 7.4 ppg.

Would really like to see the offense break out this Sat to the point I'm almost expecting it. I excused the low point totals the first three weeks for separate reasons...1st game under new coach...home game in the rain...tough opponent. Last week was mildly disappointing but the team did move the ball at times.

Anyone know where Nick Martin is with his recovery?
As much as I want to have confidence in Connor Bruns, if he has another game like Saturday against the Cobbers, we could have another week-to-week QB battle for the remainder of the season (which never seems to bode well for the Johnnies--at least not in recent history).

From Gary's chat Tues:
Q: Who plays QB when Martin is back?
A: Connor is our starting QB...

Q: Any word on Saturday's injuries?
A: Nick Martin will try to throw today to see how his shoulder feels.

From Frank's Tues blog: Sophomore quarterback Nick Martin (bruised right labrum) again sat out practice Tuesday.

Guessing they'll ride Connor for the foreseeable future.
