That's not what you're saying on twitter, hazzben. If I can remember the quote directly...

"There hasn't been a more certain walkover since the Dream Team played Papua New Gunniea."

Oz, just a reminder that I only allow people to view my private twitter account if they promise never to divulge it's contents. It's the deal I had to make with U$T, since I follow their private account and frequently retweet Caruso's musings.  ;D Get in line or I'll be forced to block you. The kind of sacrifice I'm willing to make to stay in UST's good twitter graces  8-)

Doesn't look good for Carleton, does it?

That seemed to be satire ... I doubt that was a real post.

Well, I got a moderator report on that post so clearly someone thought it could potentially be confused. My moderator actions on that will be limited to me saying "That seemed to be satire ... I doubt that was a real post."

Based on the date, that would have been an awfully enigmatic tweet.  :o

Even though the twitter post is deemed bogus, the Tommie's are itching to get on the field and play Carlton!  The players are ready to get the bad taste of a devastating loss plus the added bye week to sit and stew could end up to be a long day for Carlton!  Believe it or not...a lot of pressure on the Tommie's to Win Big....   :o

Looking at the National Weather Service report for Northfield, Today strong storms with larger hail possible and winds 10-20 MPH. Saturday scattered storms winds 10-20 MPH.
Combined with the rain from yesterday both fields; St. Olaf & Carleton, should be a mess as they are located in lower portions of each campus. Running games and clock control may be the ticket to success.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

why does the condition of the field at Carleton matter? Last I heard, the Knights were playing AT UST.   And maybe the St Olaf sprinklers that SJ1U fans harp on & on about got turned on this week and the control broke?
