Boy, how disappointed did Fasching sound to not be 6-0?  Fantastic.  It's great to be a Johnnie.  Second best decision I ever made.

Hamline with a big win today over Olaf.

St. Olaf is in trouble right now. They are looking at a possible 1 - 9 season.

Remaining schedule:

at Augsburg
Carleton
at Bethel
St. Thomas

Did a Tommie player get ejected from their game today?

Wolfman confirms in the post-game that a UST player did get ejected for launching on a defenseless receiver.

Which half ... aka, will he be sitting out the first half next week at Bethel?

Looks like it was the 2nd quarter from the play-by-play summary. But, it does not mention any ejection.
There were two pass interference penalties. One in the 2nd quarter and one in the 4th quarter. Only one had a personal foul attached to it.

I'd check the official box score to be sure.

I have no idea of where one could find this information but I've got to believe that U$T is near the top of the league in personal foul penalties.  Does anybody know if stats kept on that?

Look at Marquardt's rush stats. . .

What a difference he makes when he stays healthy.

You'd have to sift through every box score from every game this season and manually count them.

...that's my best guess, anyway.

I didn't follow every play in St Peter today.  Any update on why Braddock was not used in the second half?  I know he had two bad fumbles early...

Edit: looks like he didn't come back out after the second fumble.  Which makes sense. If anyone has other color would be interested.

A paltry 8,886 in attendance at a gray and soggy Natural Bowl today.

Good thing the Johnnies don't live video stream the games. It probably would've caused the attendance to be as low as 8,862 (worst case scenario).

DONE!!!  U$T is #4 in total penalty yardage so far this season.  SJU is dead last in penalty yardage.  Cobbers must have been tagged for a number of personal fouls / un-sportsmanlike considering based upon most recent stats they were only flagged 22 times but average 88 yards per game.

Dear Tom Stock:
I would have been at the game today but my eighth grader had a volleyball tournament.  Would have been great to watch the end of the football game on a mobile device or the finish when I got home.  I know...I'm just a cheap leech that wants something for nothing.
Go Johnnies!

A great game for the Johnnies.  A sloppy, wet affair but the Johnnies came out ahead in the turnover department and that was the game.  The Auggies had heaps more offense, but the Johns had it when it mattered.  A little magic brewing this season...
Yup ... good stuff.

I'd love for Stock or someone from the Quad to show us the report that proves video streaming would hurt attendance. At this point,  I'm guessing it's anecdotal BS.

Call me silly, but I'd bet a quality product on the field and the "game day experience" would have a much bigger effect.
