Wow-lumped with TDT and OZ-yikes. But I do experience at running a campaign -now we just need the right opponent.

Part of my legacy over the decades is the SJU#1 logo that I designed some time ago. It was never meant to proclaim "WE ARE NUMBER ONE." It's meant to be a reminder that we need to strive to be Number One, to work to be the best ... in athletics ... in the classroom ... as an alumni association ... as sons and fathers and as husbands ... as employers and employees. It's like when we sing the "Johnnie Fight Song": Show the world what SJU can do.

Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Let me think about this again. Smelled like a dead fish in the bottom of an old boat the first time I heard it....but will reconsider. It would be one thing if he was oblivious, but he acknowledges the obvious right off the bat.

Quick question here - obviously there is a way to edit your own post after you post it, but I don't see where I can edit my posts if I make a mistake and want to correct it. The only thing I see is that I can remove my post, but can't edit it. Do I have to have a certain number of posts before I can edit them? TIA

Do you see Quote Modify Remove to the right of your original post heading?  If so, try Modify.

Could a neutral 'referee' step in here with an observation  (without taking karma hits?) ::)

SJU posting previous awards.  Doesn't (essentially) every site do that?  What is the purpose of a college website if not to trumpet your achievements?   No arrogance.

UST posting the date of first round playoff games (and, for that matter, site and date of Stagg Bowl), perfectly normal and a service to fans.  No arrogance.

UST specifically listing the first round game as HOME.  Presumptuous (and arrogant?).

I believe you get the modify option at the 100 post mark.

That's unfortunate.  I catch half my speling mistakes through the modify option.

I will assume you mispelled "speling" on purpose and give you a "+" for at least once, showing a bit of self-deprecating humor.

Wow - 100 posts??  Seems like a lot of posts, especially since only 'original' posts count, not any replies to other posts. I've been a registered user of this board for several years, and while I rarely make 'original' posts (I only have 14 so far), I do reply to a lot of posts. Looks like I'm going to have to make a lot of original posts just to get the option to edit my posts, which kind of seems to defeat the purpose to prevent trolling.

ALL posts count.  Including replies.

How was that not a neutral statement of the facts?

What specifically did I get wrong?
