do you guys also huddle around the radio at night to listen to all the newest dramas?

I grew up listening to Don Dunphy announce boxing matches. When I finally saw one on TV, I realized that the visual version was a completely different sport. :)

Have you ever put down a horse?  I have and it quivers and shakes, looking for anything to grasp on to both physically and mentally.  That's what we have here.

The good reverend sure has been quiet lately.

Can't imagine what led to that.

I will admit to occasionally getting a laugh out of his posts.

I'll be back to the banter in due course...am now just checking in from time to time to catch up.  With the government shutdown and its aftereffects, defending freedom (my day job) has become a far more challenging and time-consuming task.  Also, I'm facing the real prospect of not finishing my PhD dissertation (my evening job) on time.  I've needed to take a break from joining/mocking the [Insert Team] smokefest...

Well if you guys are really into watching live stream webcasts, here's something for ya!

Sounds to me like there will be a lot of empty pews. Why go when you can stay home and watch it on webcast?

Has anybody have an update regarding Ayrton Scott not playing this Saturday for the first half??? Has this been confirmed ???

Thanks in advance! ;D
Nothing has been confirmed that I know of. Usually news out of Augsburg is hard to obtain and that is by design I believe. Keep 'em guessing CT! I am waiting to see if he is on the two deep roster this afternoon myself.

Just as I thought... trying to confirm my picks :P Ayrton is a talented kid and his performance will affect the out come for sure, but to give the Auggies (+29.5) vs. UST ??? ??? I think the odds makers know something ;D

Good Luck OldAuggie... Let me know, if you don't mind when the two deep comes out!

Thanks!
Looks like he is good to go!   8-)
If Scott is 100% healthy added with the frustration last weekend at CCM added to the Auggies are playing the Tommie, well let's just say he could have a pretty good day if he focuses his talent to making plays on the field. Those are a lot of caveats, but then again I don't have a dog in the fight, but would still like to see the Auggies win  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Sounds like Frank Rajkowski is rubbing off on you.

An interesting paragraph from Frank's Johnnies-Gusties preview:

"Bruns also sat out the win at Carleton with a sprained foot. He too has practiced this week, but he and Martin have split reps with the first-team offense. And Fasching said after practice Friday that Martin would start against the Gusties, but that Bruns could see time as well." (emphasis added)

I don't know about the rest of you, but I get nervous when there is talk of QB by committee.

It doesn't bother me when both are playing competently, but when one is ineffective so is the rotation plan.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Must have fixed it by now but on the main d3football score page it had the game already over with a 20-12 win.

I'd take it. Gustavus is a tough squad. They have proven that they can hang with the top tier squads in the MIAC.
