R.I.P Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon- professional wrestling icon.

Truly a legend.  He and Dick the Bruiser would be at the top of my list.  I used to love when Mad Dog was interviewed how he would sort of foam at the mouth and spit and all that.   

I sent a message to two childhood buddies & they had similar stories/memories of the old days of the AWA 

don't forget about "the baron"

Nice win by the Royals.  They outplayed CSS in (literally) every single aspect of the game.  Bethel has a lot to be proud of, but can't overlook Wartburg.  They were up on Wartburg 30-0 when they played them to open the season and let Wartburg score 17 unanswered points in the second half.  This Bethel team especially, though, will be ready.  I'd imagine the game will be back in Arden Hills as it's supposed to be around 32 degrees and the Dome is booked with MSHSL tourneys.

I was at the game and they started putting in the second team during the end of the third quarter. Then in the fourth quarter it was all second team on both sides of the ball. Bethel had some mental lapses - running into the punter and the DBs were toasted on the Saints first score. Bethel settled down but another team with more weapons could have taken more advantage before the adjustments were made. But once BU was up by 5 they really started to coast.

Just watched the Bethel press conference recorded just after the game. This team is solid from the head coach to the players and everything in between. Nice job representing the MIAC Bethel!
