You know that whole Ponder Freeman thing is crazy! What was Viking management thinking?
Exactly...they were NOT thinking about building a more competitive football team, that's for sure. Perhaps they were thinking how to squeeze about 500 retail shops around the new Viking Stadium at taxpayer expense....did I type that out-loud?
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Love that video!  Looks like they ran down Clark street or Rush...they all look the same after a while with a few Drinks ;D Man, he could probably play for the Vikings this Sunday against the Bears he would do well...Wait he did get tackled by a Light pole, I take that back! I know he had a few more drinks and then went home and slept of the buzz, which followed a visit to the hospital in the AM... Nice way to start a Monday. ;D

DAAA BEARSS!

Picture of the guy with his injured shoulder!

OZ, I don't know if any NFL fan in our conference will win anything in the post season this year, The Bears, Packers, Vikings or Detroit have no chance playing like they have...whoever makes the playoffs will not get out of the first round! >:(

Did I type that out loud...

That reminds of one of my favorite parts of Ghostbusters:  Listen, do you smell something?

I was at the Dome Saturday as well & watching Bethel pretty much have their way the CSS reminded me of March Madness when someone like Louisville,Duke or Kansas gets "Anywhere State College of Art & Design" in First Round #1-#16 match up.
Is it 2015 where there will be 3 more Automatic Qualifier Conferences? Oh well, that just goes to prove you really have to take care of business & win your conference because the Pool C is shrinking.

Does anyone know if the Bethel Sr.'s are going to donate their hair to Locks of Love (a great charity for cancer survivors) when they cut their hair in the spring when they enter the real worrld and need a real haircut for job interviews?
I think your question was answered 3 months ago....

One guy who doesn't get the credit and headlines on Bethel's team is DE Luke Buttenhoff. Because of the scheme, the Dline is constantly sacrificing themselves to free up the linebackers. And Buttenhoff still makes plays all over the place. He's really turned things up this year. He was lights out on Saturday again.

As Hoagie says on the webcast:

QuoteDon't Hassel the Hoff!

He'll be key against Wartburg and their rushing attack.

A little Massey fun for Saturday:

Score Prediction:
Wartburg  19
Bethel       36

90% probability of a Bethel win.

The latter seems pretty high.

Massey also gives UWW a 99% probability of victory against Franklin, but Mount only 65% v. Wittenberg. NCC is at 70% v. UWP.

What I find interesting about Massey is that name recognition and past seasons plays no role in the numbers, either for or against a team. Take it FWIW.

I also find it interesting that he only considers wins, losses and venue.  No scoring spread.  No external factors.  And by the end of the season he's pretty darned accurate.  It makes me wish I had studied mathematics because I wanted to and not just because I had to.  Some of it may have stuck and then I would be able to play around with the statistical models used in things like this.

EDIT:  I also like how he publishes part of his methodology with just enough non math-based discussion to keep a hack following the conversation.  On this page (http://www.masseyratings.com/theory/sched.htm) he talks about the probability of victory.  At a 90% chance of a BU victory that means he thinks that the Royals are "great" and that Wartburg is "Average".

I hear that he comes from a questionable...at best...family background.  ;D

I know the family quite well & Luke is a very hard working, humble kid who is not looking for headlines. He's looking to do his best in everything he does,on & off the field.

I see it too. A significant database access issue, from the looks of it.
