St. Glenn is a coach that I love to hate. If he goes to UND, NDSU, Princeton, Central Connecticut State, Morgan State, James Madison, Weber State, or Eastern Michigan (all of whom have head coach job postings on the NCAA Market at NCAA.org), it will take some spice out of the best rivalry in Division III sports.

Maybe this is just me feeling my oats concerning the direction of the SJU football program, but I won't be one looking to find him a new job this off-season.
Beating up on UST during my time at SJU (2003-2007) was fun to watch--only one game was even close (15-12 at O'Shaughnessy for Gagliardi's 408th career victory in 2003), but there wasn't much spice.

Only because I've become a follower of the Ivies while living in NYC and was surprised to see Princeton listed because they have had a tremendous turnaround and their coach is regarded as one of the best in the league, their real football team doesn't actually have an opening. If Caruso leaves for Princeton it would be to take over as the "sprint football head coach" at the school.

Although I can now amuse myself with the idea of Caruso leaving for the position and finding out too late it's for the sprint team.

Sorry, what is a sprint football team?

Football with normal sized guys. Players must maintain a weight of 172 lbs or less and a minimum of 5% body fat to be eligible to play.

Sprint football, formerly called lightweight football, is a varsity sport played by United States colleges and universities, under rules similar to American football. The sport is currently governed by the Collegiate Sprint Football League.
Unlike conventional collegiate football which places a premium on body weight and strength, sprint football emphasizes speed and agility. Players must maintain a weight of 172 lbs or less and a minimum of 5% body fat to be eligible to play.

Lightwieght now sprint. But isn't lumbering football now offended, the oafish brutes?

Since when does 5% body fat constitute "normal size" for an American male? Seriously, have you been inside a Wal-Mart lately and looked at the clientele? ;)

If Glenn does throw his name in the ring does it have any impact on the F.A.M.I.L.Y. @ U$T?
Discuss among yourselves....developing (right DustySJU?)

They have to be really, really fast 'fat' guys! ;D

(Not sure why they would set a minimum, unless it is a health concern for that player.)

I find it hard to believe, but I think he's gone. He strikes me as the kind of guy that wouldn't let his name get out unless he was certain. I think he manages the message very closely.

I'm glad we beat them this year. It would have been a bummer for him to go out on a Johnnie low note.

How has Steve Johnson's name not come up on any of these lists?

Johnson took a program that finished in the bottom 3 in the MIAC every single year prior to his becoming head coach and has only had one losing season since then.
He has a .783 win percentage over the last ten years.

Perhaps the Bethel guys can help me out with this one.
