Faunch,  SJU beat UWW in '02, not '03.  They never played in '03.

Is Grant Olson from NDSU your cousin? He kinda of looks like you. If so is there any chance he will get back on the field this season (after the ACL) if the Bison make it to the Championship?
If the looks or last name didn't give it away, he also goes by "GO".  He's a little crazy to try to play, but I wouldn't put it past him.  I think I'd be content to stick to the clipboard based on the way the Bison played today.

Just as a heads up ESPNU is replaying both of the playoff games next week. Mount and NCC is on Wednesday the 18th at 1 PM and WW UMHB is on Thursday the 19th at 1 PM. Get those DVR's cranked up! :D I realize seeing purple might not be a first choice but good football has no color. There is some red too!  ;)

I was very impressed with the feature story on John. He is an amazing man. I feel honored to have had the chance to know him. :)

Oh ya one thing I forgot...... Not a Tommie in sight. How did that getting back to the Stagg Bowl work out for you guys? Not as easy as you thought. Thank you Johnnies. :-*

And as always The Tommies continue to SUCK. ;D
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

USTBench makes his presence known from time to time. But, he's the only Tommie that has been around in good times and bad.

And I as well - just never have too much to contribute. I don't think the lack of Tommie presence on this board directly relates to us not caring about our team.

But for those who were wishing for a CARUSO exit - Looks like he plans on staying! :)

Now - more importantly,  Since it looks as though Caruso plans on staying. Any guesses on who the finalists for the OC position will be?

Go Tommies!! :)

While you may have made a bad choice, your roots are still red.  You're as Stearns County as they come. ;D

Hey Raider Guy!

It's good to see that the back up Mount Union Quarterback had the charges dropped for punching a girl at a party earlier this season!  Nice  :o Its also Good to see that the machine works on and off the field for the program.  It must be nice to be able to recruit all the thugs that drop out of the Columbus football program.  As for the Tommie's ...we haven't gone anywhere that's for sure...but not much to say, Like the Cubs fans in Chicago continue to say "wait till next year".  ;D

Go Tommie's!

With Bethel out I was pulling for North Central all the way. And the Warhawks too - I really wanted an upper-midwest playoff scenario. Man, it was a great weekend of D3 football. (It gets really hard to get anything done around the house with the audio from the games playing in the background)

It'll be another good Stagg Bowl and the weather sounds promising at this point in the week.  Hope to make that road trip sometime in the near future to take it in.

Actually.....if I would have been a parent of the young man, the lawsuits would be flying.  Turns out the girl made up the whole story (which the cops found out and then decided not to investigate), and it was also ruled the cop had no business yanking the kid out of his car the next morning.  Bottom line......a kid left school, had his reputation ruined/damaged, and who knows if he will ever get back to where he once was.  Word is he is re-enrolling for the Winter quarter, so here's hoping he gets his education and maybe gets to be back on the football field.

It was a bad situation that escalated in the wrong direction for the young man.  I am guessing he learned about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

My bad, Maniac. I don't know how I forgot to mention you as a stand-up Tommie.

Perhaps its because you also went to SJP, and as a result the things you say are rather un-Tommish.
