QuoteWith Ramler’s extensive background in the MIAC, Olson was asked if that signaled another push to switch leagues. St. Scholastica had twice applied to join the MIAC, only to be turned down. Olson said until the MIAC lifts its moratorium on expansion, if ever, it’s a moot point.

“It’s impractical,” Olson said. “They’re perfectly happy where they’re at, and we’re happy where we’re at.”

Sounds like a 'Yes' to me.

What's their mascot?  The Saints?  The Scholasties?

Boys of Fall

Nickname is the Saints, colors are royal blue and gold, affiliation with benedictine nuns.  If the MIAC ever lets them in the catholics might have a majority.

I think they should change to the Scholasties.  This worm could be the mascot.  Name him Ollie.  Ollie the Scholie.  He's cute.

So would that make the cheerleaders worm-ettes?

With cheers like this:

Chew 'em up, grind it out, castings, castings - Reel 'em in boys

You, art, may have just hit in a slagging gem for this coming season: making up new mascots and cheers for rival teams. Could be very good.

I've got some ideas for the Tommies but Pat would delete my post and ban me from the board.  :-X

It's a little slow around here.  I'm wondering if Fury is still following Caruso on twitter?  I check twitter every month, unless I forget.  Haven't seen any GC tweets.  Would be interesting to know his thoughts this off season.

Listening online to WXYG "The Goat" out of Sauk Rapids. They just followed "One Toke Over the Line" with Shuggie Otis' "Strawberry Letter 23" and then "Better By You, Better Than Me" by Spooky Tooth.  Awesome.  8-)

I love that station and have it "bookmarked" on my internet radio here in Madison.  Makes you feel young again!!

All I see is a garbage dump.
Use a little imagination.

Reusse seems to be on the CSS to the MIAC train.

Would you really want to play 9 conference games?  It significantly hurts the SOS/at-large chances.

Thanks for that, BDB.  I found an app called TuneIn which broadcasts the station.  I miss good ol' classic rock.  All the Aussie stations are mixed format so I spend my time on sports radio.

I had hoped that this would let me listed to WBHR on my iPhone/iPad but they stream with RealAudio... dang.
