You had to go there.  ;)

Yeah, it must be something about the Hopkins education process.   ;)

All too familiar of a story though...elite levels of talent that just can't manage to get their act together.  Unfortunate.

Royce White somewhat got his act together with the petty criminal stuff after Minnesota and maintained a 3.0GPA while suspended. His anxiety disorder was a very different story though.

Very true on the anxiety piece.

I'm referring to his multiple thefts, and other undisclosed poor decisions that kept him from ever playing for the Gophers.

Here's the kind of lass you all should have brought home to you ma and da.
Candiate for Rose of Tralee and a Camogie player....she freestyles w/ her hurley wearing a dress and heels...I even wager she enjoys a pint of Murphy's or Beamish over Guinness

Anyone subscribe to the River Falls Journal?  Our guy Andre made the police report but it doesn't appear to be available online.
The former River Falls mayor (aka FredFalcon) expects he'll be back on the football field at some point.

From FredFalcon over on the WIAC board:

McDonald is gone. Had 2 police citations since June:  the first for underage drinking, the second for pot paraphernalia which he admitted to owning, discovered by police when they were called to his apartment a couple weeks ago because of a loud party and a fight, not featuring McDonald.

Do you believe in miracles?
Yes!!!

http://portal.stretchinternet.com/csbsju/

The lesser miracle for me is that Stretch recognizes my location and gives me game times local to Melbourne.  Pre-game for the opener starts at 2am on Sunday, Sept 7 and kick-off is at 3am.  Roll on daylight savings.  Kick-off moves to 5am.

EDIT: I just noticed that there is a conference tab and AUG, BU, CC, STO, and GAC are all on Stretch and linked right there as well.  We'll have 85% of the SJU schedule at our video fingertips.  A third miracle.  Someone in the SJU sport department is up for deification.

I can't imagine how incredible how awesome this is for you.  Being a Twin Cities resident it's not all that difficult to get up to Collegeville on a Saturday and I only get up there for about one game a year.  I am just giddy about this development.

This is great for you!  Just go on to the opposing teams website and you will find some kind of link to their broadcast as well if they don't use Stretch. Carleton has a good quality production.  I usually go to the UST vs. AUG game but I watched part of a playoff game :-X on their feed a few years ago and it was ok.

Certifiable Devine intervention. The stretch site works on my crappy old ipad. I'll be able to stay warm under the covers and watch the game with earphones on. Cripes, I'm practically giddy with anticipation of the opener.

Moving past the early 2000's by ditching Real Player is a huge upgrade as well.

I feel that it should be mentioned that the FXX channel is starting a Simpsons marathon today.  They are playing every single episode.  :o

500+ episodes.  I'm taking the next 12 days off of work.  Not sure how I'll stay awake for 12 days though.

Watch a couple episodes of Breaking Bad and you may find a solution...

I'm with ya. KC isn't as far away as OZ, but it usually limits me to one (at best two) games per year. And with SJU now up with video I'll be able to see Bethel play every game. I'm pumped!! It was such a downer the last few years when we'd play up in Collegeville and I was relegated to the radio. No offense to VOJ!
