It's gut check time for the Johnnies. Beating the Tommies two years in a row in St. Paul will be a step in the right direction. Let's go Johnnies!

BTW Bench, did you hear  the one about three Tommie girls walking into a bar?...... I'll stop right there because there will be enough real life underage drinking stories to go around on Saturday. I hope to see you there  8-)

Well, let's hope our ability to make halftime adjustments won't be affected by an ambulance blocking the locker room entrance because they're loading up some idiot girl that has alcohol poisoning again.

I'd say there is a good chance of that happening...again.

A tradition unrivaled...

Speaking of happening again - Will there be a 15 minute on-field presentation of the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year award at halftime? I don't remember hearing who won the 2013 award. Based on the slobbing that happened last year I assume St Glenn was honored once again.

It's possible it wasn't the drunk blocking the locker room that resulted in the lack of halftime adjustments. I would wager it was the fact the head coach was out on the field and not in the locker room that was the problem.

While I didn't exactly agree with the timing of that presentation, my guess is the OC and DC probably do the majority of the tinkering during halftime.

Also, an SJU fan upset about having to witness the opposing team's coach get perpetually patted on the back is hilarious.

I think the difference, here, is that Gagliardi hated the attention while St. Glenn eats it up.  :-*

I know when I'm feeling bashful I always sit down for an interview on ESPN.

I didn't buy that "aw shucks" bit he did for one second. Clever as it was, Gags was a wolf in sheep's clothing.

How many Bennies does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Trick question, St. Ben's is a fine academic institution and all of its students are smart enough to know they look better in the dark.

sjusection105

As stumbling out of a random Frat House early one Saturday morning, two Tommie girls fell into a construction hole at the end of the block. The first Tommie girl inquires "it's dark in here, isn't it?"  the second Tommie girl replies "I don't know, I can't see".

I'll be here all week folks... remember to tip your wait staff... they're Tommies and are  overachievers as compared to their peers  ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

A Johnnie and a good looking Bennie were out on a date.

You're right, jokes need to have a sense of realism to be funny. Sorry.

I heard most of the UST girls are up in Stearns County at the moment, learning to speak Bennie.  Apparently, the CSB contingent did a real number on UST's campus during the 2012 game. It's hoped that with these new language skills our girls can help keep them from grazing on the freshly landscaped Lower Quad.

I'm legitimately terrified to know what dirty corner of the internet that last picture came from.

How many Tommie freshmen does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

None.  At UST that's a sophomore course.

Alternative punchline:

How many Tommies does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Two.  One to stir the martinis and one to call the electrician.

OzJohnnie

If a Tommie or Johnnie fell off a building, which would hit the ground first?

The Johnnie.  The Tommie would need to stop and ask directions.
