Good afternoon fellas.

Benchwarmer will you be making an appearance on Saturday?

Give me the 13.5.  What was the spread last year?
24.5,  11 of 20 still took the Tommies.
So far, 4 of 12 are taking UST to cover the 13.5.

Literally no one I know from UST (that I am good friends with)  is going to the game, my wife's aunt is getting married in Brainerd (I'm not going) so she can't tagalong, I somehow ended up with this rescue dog that has mange so I can't drop it off at a kennel...might be the first one I've missed in a long time. Kind of bummed.

I mean, I always run into guys I know there (Barkley, J-Hall, etc), but it's different when you live in Fargo, show up somewhere, tailgate by yourself hoping to see someone you know, who by this point are just sort of acquaintances. Just bums me out. Hard to stay connected when you live so far away.

After watching this board all week I have decided that the Tommies should go over to the Engineer board to learn how to talk smack. I know us Johnnies thought we were good until we ran into them.
When you come up with 'Monkey Stomp' the case is closed.    8-)

A Tommie girl was driving near campus in her vintage BMW when it stalled at a stop light & would not re-start. She remembered that her daddy had programmed a number into her phone in case she had car trouble. The Tommie girl call the number programmed into her phone; a man with a funny accent answered, it was Klaus her daddy's German born auto mechanic. Klaus got her location and sent a tow truck to retrieve the wounded BMW. Klaus is a mechanical genius and a master of all things that originate in the Black Forest. When the BMW arrived at his shop,Klaus began working on it right away and soon had the vehicle up and running, idling smoothly.
The Tommie girl approached Klaus and inquired "So my car's o.k.? What's the deal?"
Klaus:"Ah,yest crap in da carburetor"
Tommie girl: "Well, how often am I supposed to do that?"

BDB, I'm watching the USA Hockey Prospects game. A kid from River Falls, Tommy Novak, got a nice PP goal. You know him? I think he plays with at least one of Eddie Olczyk's sons in the USHL in Cedar Rapds.

Retired Old Rat

As many of you know, and I'm embarrassed to admit, my eldest daughter is a graduate of U$T.

Unlike most of her fellow Tommies,  she did not drive a late model European vehicle.  She did not have a vehicle.  Never asked for one either.  She know better.   ;)

Like most of her fellows, she didn't give a **** about the football team or any other athletic teams at U$T.

It's sad that the Johnnies have resorted to ad hominem. Where's the witty banter that we've grown to love. A shadow of their former selves...

The lack of self reflection in that post of yours would impress a vampire. Duff ate you for breakfast.

WHAT?!?!  Not even U$T alums want to go back to campus.  :P  Thank God for U$T's sterling global reputation and infinite endowment, or they'd have nothing!

Son of BDB and I have not heard of this guy. If he's from River Falls I doubt he played High School hockey there.

Audi is a driver's car, not a "look at me, I'm special car". Simple as that.... :D

I think he was originally a St. Paul kid whose family moved to River Falls.  Then as a sophomore he started crossing the river daily to play at the Academy.  He scored with 6.1 seconds left to beat Hermantown in the title game which enabled another classic Bruce Plante press conference.    You know he's salty when he introduces his players by zipcode.   https://twitter.com/paraloschicos15/status/439250149034848257

A friend of mine drives one of the handful of these in Australia. He has more money than sense.

I on the other hand, have more sense than money.

R8 a "practical" street legal race car that you can actually drive every day & not have your own "Klaus" on retainer..... 8-)
