Five hours until first bounce in a rematch of the 2012 Grand Final. Swans are about 10 point favourites. I'm hoping for the Hawthorn / Johnnie double this weekend.

Tom Jones much better than Meatloaf was a few years ago for pregame entertainment. Weather looks absolutely gorgeous. Should be a fantastic game

Oh, man!  A hard, fast, high pressure, high skill first quarter. That plays to Hawthorn's strength and they lead 35 - 15 at the fist break.

You'll need Sydney to clog up the ground to slow down the Hawks and force them into some mental mistakes, FC. This could turn into a classic game when we see how Sydney come back at us in the second quarter.

While it was even early, it seems the Hawks always have an extra man around the ball. They really should be up by more right now.

Another fast quarter for Hawthorn and they lead the Swans 75 - 33 at the main break. I agree with you, FC, the Hawks should be up by at least 15 more than they are but there is a lot of pressure in a Grand Final. Even set shots at goal are harder than usual.

I'm surprised at how many points the Swans have given up. Only once in the last 12 games have a team scored 70 and the Hawks did it in just a half. They will remember how the Hawks nearly blew a comfortable lead last week to Port. Think it has to be within 4 goals headed to the 4th to have a chance.

it has been three quarters of football school with Hawthorn delivering the lessons. The Hawks are up 107 - 53 at three quarter time.  Sydney need an eleven goal quarter and need to hold Hawthorn scoreless. The fat lady can be heard warming up in the rooms.

Hawthorn's run, skill precision and decision making have been flawless today. They have made Sydney look like minor leaguers this afternoon, FC. A spectacular performance.  Fingers crossed that the last quarter runs out well.
