And why there are lots of neutered males around Summit Ave in St. Paul!

The report is that the fall colors will be at (or very close to) peak for Saturday's homecoming game in Collegeville.
I'm pumped to be going back for the game!

Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

I hope the Natural Bowl still has some Autumn glory at the Carleton game on the 25th, which I'll be home for.  I'm hoping for a big, glorious victory over the Kniggits.

I think most of the autumn glory will be on the ground by then Oz, but it should still be beautiful.

Getting ready for the Vikings-Packers game where it will be raining all game. Makes me laugh. That plus the Packer cheerleaders, as a group, need to mix in a salad every once in awhile I'm thinking.

I was just thinking about the top games at Clemens Stadium from a weather and foliage perspective that I have experienced in the 12 years I have been attending Saint John's games.
My personal favorite was the 2009 Johnnie-Tommie game (October 19, 2009). It was 44° at kickoff with hardly a cloud in the sky. The maple tree above the visitor bleachers was bright red.
Absolutely outstanding football weather.

I share that to give you some hope, Oz, that the colors just may last that long.

She was the best dog I ever had. Unfortunately she had terrible seizures. Then after a big one, her hind end was paralyzed and we found out she had a tumor on her spine. That was all she wrote.

Ish.  Sorry about that, Bench and badgerwarhawk.  We lost our Great Dane, Floyd, to cancer in July.  He was an amazing dog, but the pain got the better of him, and I couldn't watch him suffer anymore.  That's a rough decision to make.

Well, the Collegeville weather is shaping up to be crap.  We're lugging two little ones along, so I'm hoping for no precipitation.  What a difference from last Saturday!

QuoteA slight chance of rain and snow before 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 47. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Similar weather in Arden Hills for tomorrow as well. Hopefully the partly cloudy means mostly sunny for some solar heat soaking in. Enjoy the games!

Seems like you just had #1 and now you are hauling 2 to a football game. My son turns 16 tomorrow. Good grief.

Yep.  #1 just turned 3, and #2 will be 1 in 2 months!  :o
