I think HBM and M. Juberian were the defense last year.  :'(

HBM made a pick against Bethel that was incredible last year. It was a tight window and Peterson threw a great ball, away from the defender where it looked like only the WR could get it. 9 times out of 10, it was a sick pass for a first down. HBM laid out and pulled it down. Remarkable instincts and even better hands on the play. I was impressed.

Most teams would not dare throw to the middle of the field with HBM back there. He would have more interceptions but teams literally would not throw up the middle because his range and hands were that good. Watched him a lot, he was/is very talented. I remember that play too, Peterson tried to sneak one in there but he learned why you don't throw that pass!

Damn.  My tipping sucks even worse this year than it did last year.

That's a pretty competitive Pickem Board. I like how desertcat1 is in 7th place and he missed a week... LOL!  :-*

More a reflection of the skill of the handicapper, I think, than the skilllessness of the tippers.  Certainly that must be the case.

I haven't heard much about the Chicago-area Catholic school football programs lately.  What's new?

Thanks! The one thing I can attribute to is gathering team stats and being able to watch multiple games in the MIAC.  Don't worry it won't last long! Going to Tommies game this weekend, love going hate the drive!

Hey, wait a minute. Gathering stats?  When did we start putting actual thought into our picks?  I demand an investigation!

Yeah, this forum should stop.  Larry is either a genuine grade A wanker or a troll of the highest order.  Either way, Fasching demeans himself by engaging with these a**clowns as if they are legitimate critics.

It's about half a step in front of these guys: http://youtu.be/slHyYiaRC0k
