My sources tell me the J's have been practicing the quad option for a few weeks.  Sura and Bungham in the backfield at the same time.   Jeff Norman sightings in C'ville more than once add credibility.
Where is Harry Awe when you need him?

I think we'll see Bungum under center this week, with Martin and Johnny Benson inserted as pulling guards.  "Sunshine" Warner will be at running back, but only because Guy Bellair used all of his eligibility.

A tradition unrivaled...

Oh, and Jimmy G will be running the defense with Novak taking over the offense.

I didn't realize until I saw the the MIAC Play of the Week nominees that St. Olaf and Hamline came down to the final play! Easy to overlook the drama since they are so far out of contention.

How much longer does Olaf wait to make a change? I realize Stern has only been there 2 years, but it's brutal how bad the Oles have gotten under him. From 7-3 to likely back to back 1-9 campaigns. That's not a slide, that's an implosion.

I wonder how much this factors into GAC's improvement. You've got to think they're competing for some of the same South Metro, Southern MN talent.

EDIT: Re-reading this, I thought it came across like I was relishing Olaf's implosion and the possibility of Stern losing his job. Not the case. Just wondering out loud how long his leash is...

Don't need Harry.  Bungham was the SC Times player of the year at QB three years ago.  I think he can still sling it.

I heard that Keating found another year of eligibility and will be suiting up on Saturday.

The defense is coming into their own. Holding the Auggies to 7 points..... A. Scott was very frustrated  8-)

The team probably has 15-20 high school quarterbacks on its roster.  I suspect Martin is at QB, Sura is at RB, and Bungum is at WR for a reason.

Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.
