Anyone hear of any injury updates for the Royals? More than likely they don't like to let that info out to keep the opponent in the dark but thought I would ask anyway.

Good luck to both teams this weekend - looking forward to a hard fought, injury free game.

Go Royals!!

According to Frank's article, Mathis will not be playing on Saturday:

Big day in Collegeville. For those who can make it to campus have a great day. I won't be able to but look forward to trying to follow along.

If SJU can have a passing line in the 8-12, 120 yard range, they should be in good shape. I don't think they'll be able to get by on throwing less than 10 times. And if they get well above 10-12 attempts it most likely means they are playing from behind.

UST & Concordia are the closest comps to the game today. The passing game was effective against St Thomas & the entire team struggled against Concirdia (and Martin did not play). Hoping Gary, Jim & company have been saving parts of the passing game for when they need it.

Fight You Johnnies Fight.

Key to a Royals victory...mistake free football (turnovers & penalties).

SJU has excelled at protecting the ball and getting the timely turnover (UST & GAC). I think if Bethel protects the ball, their offensive balance should tip the game to their advantage. If they cough it up...all bets are off.

Go Royals!!

Good call -- Royals lost on both counts.

10-18, 170 yards, 2 TDs. From my Twitter feed a very strong performance by Martin. Sura was Sura. A great win for the Jays.

What a fun game-SJU set the tone with the goal line stand and subsequent TD! SJU forces some key turnovers. Looking forward to payoffs.
BTW-SJU had about 35 recruits at that game-added bonus of selling your program.

Thanks to Johnnie Red for hosting the tailgate.
Much thanks to Veek for cooking the Polish-you are the best.
Good to see everyone, especially Veek Sr. and SJUSection105 and DustySJU and of course TDT.
TDT had a classy greeting for VOJ.

Very nice game for SJU today!  Sura and the online are the real deal...that running game will serve them very well come playoff time.  It seemed like they could knock out a 4-5 yard run whenever they wanted, and Martin made plays when he needed to.

Frustrating to see BU turn the ball over so many times when they've had such good ball security for the most part this year, especially when they had some drives developing nicely.

Congrats Johnnies.

Poll predictions: The Johnnies move up to 15, maybe 14; BU falls to 16, maybe 17; UST move up two spots and CON are either 25th or the first team out of the rankings.

Woo-eee, that was a fun one in Collegeville!  SJU is coming into their own.  They played very good football today.  My signature line (which I added last year) may be becoming a reality!

I was thinking last winter when you put up that signature line, "woooo, that's ballsy!"
Now you're looking like a genius.

Got any hot stock tips?

A shoutout from Japan to say good game Johnnies. Very pleasantly surprised to see the score when I signed in this morning (Sunday here). Old #13 will be happy as well.

Hi, tmerton, it's good to see a post from you.  I hope you're having a good time with the son.
