Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Are we going to have another uww first round win by 60 points?

Maybe have Chicago Tommie post the line on that one..... ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Wow.  The Tommies played their way in.  I sure hope we beat Scholastica and then they beat Wartburg.  A monumental clash behind the Pine Curtain.  It could easily be an FX special movie event.

Round 2: Down for the Count!

SJU will sleepwalk through CSS. UST will have their work cut out for them, but man a playoff meeting would be epic.

In d3football top 25 news:

SJU stays at 13, UST moves up to 20, BU drops out and CON gets more votes to second team out of the rankings.

Glenn and company are going to find that the Knights of Wartburg have sharper swords and better armor than the Knights of Carleton. It'll be a good game but the Tommies will be left in the moat.

Frankly, I think Wartburg got hosed in their first round draw . As much as I dislike UST, they are a formidable bunch and probably a much tougher draw than the undefeated #5 team in the country expected in round one. I know you gotta beat em all eventually, but still.

I agree-chicago Tommie will like this reference-just like mount Carmel getting into the state playoffs at 5-4 and still in the hunt.

Can't really disagree with you there, but UST got in by the skin of their teeth, so it's only natural that had to go on the road and play someone tough.

I just read the article.  Tragedy.  Unbelievable.  His poor family.

Mt Union/John Carroll replay on at 4am (tonight/ Monday morning) on Sports Time Ohio, for those that get it.

I'd rather the Johnnies play UST at home second round than go to Wartburg.

I would as well, but a Tommie loss is a Tommie loss. I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth.

I agree w/ that...they should have probably had CSS but I'm guessing the NCAA didn't want to match U$T / SJU in the first round.
